Life Saver!!!! Love!!!

I have a large property with a large area of brush. The dogs run free (supervised), however at night sometimes he would run into the trees/bushes and I couldn’t find him right away. This collar lights up so I can easily track him at night! No more hide and seek ???? Also, good quality and we have had it about 2+ months now without any major wear and tear. I wish they had some more girly colors for our other pup!

Save Your Money

I’m very vigilant about my dog - I take his collar off when he’s being cleaned, at night when he sleeps, and he has another collar for water - that being said, this collar has plastic clasps and broke in less than three months. I have another Carhartt collar with steel clasps that is still doing good, but the plastic clasps just aren’t equipped for a larger breed dog. I expected better quality, but lesson learned.

The plastic clip broke within 5 months

Bought the product in February of 2021 and the clip broke in June 2021. It broke as I was trying to unclip it from my dogs neck. Loved the looks and the ease of use. Loved the overall material of the product as well (I also bought a matching leash). But did not expect the clip to break this quickly. Aside from the damage, I reached out to Carhartt helpdesk and it took them a month to respond back with a rejection of my request to replace it. No reason was provided for the rejection as well. I would expect a better product and better service from such a well known brand. After all this leash is collar is not on the cheaper side. I wish it had not broken or the product was replaced as I really liked the looks. But unfortunately it is just money down the drain.

Good collar

The collar itself is great and attractive. The light doesn't always work... like maybe its got a short? Our shepherd wears it in all weather.

Plastic buckle broke within 4 months

Used the collar on a medium-sized pitbull mix around 2 years old that I rescued. While the collar looks great and I got lots of compliments, the plastic buckle broke today having only used it for about for months with a dog that admittedly pulls but not too much, and it's too late to return. There is a metal version of this collar that I hope is stronger than this plastic one that I wish I had purchased instead.

So Disappointing

After a few weeks one of the side buckles broke... now the light doesn’t work, barely used it. Not worth the money, very disappointing

Good collar

A good collar for your pet. The light is bright enough, but I wish the solid stayed solid and not blink. You tend to lose a black dog in the dark for a couple of seconds. My only grapes about this is the buckle part. Since it's from Carhartt, I was expecting it to be a bit more solid. This cheap plastic doesn't look like it's going to last too long since I'm paying over $30 for a collar.
