Composite safety toe is wide to give you room for comfort and safety. Black oil tanned leather upper construction. Lightweight proprietary EVA midsole. Formulated for rebound and energy recovery the midsole absorbs foot strike impact. Energy rubber outsole provides grip, traction and flexibility with every step. Oil, chemical, and slip resisting. Meets electrical hazard hazard rating ASTM 2413-11 EH. Most comfortable boot I've found, they are waterproof but they don't like complete saturation. The pair I'm replacing are the brown ones, left foot toe protector moved and rubbed my foot to death. Light rain,snow ok. 3inch puddle for an hour no Bueno, ruined em.

Most comfortable safety work boots I've ever owned

I have a wide foot and need safety toe boots for work. This pair of Carhartt work boots are the best I've ever worn. The leather broke in about 2 days. The composite toe is comfortable around my toes and the wide size is perfect for my Fred Flintstone feet. Plus an excellent price here on Amazon.

My only issue so far are the shoe lace keep coming undone. They where easy to break in and very roomy. I'm a size 9 I bought a 9w for more room in the toe box because of the composite toe and that it

Good boots

The boots were comfortable right out of the box. They are lightweight but still provide good support. I do commercial and industrial electrical work so I am on my feet 8-10 hours per day. No issues with support or comfort. They do make your feet appear larger then they are.

I want to like these boots.

I want to like these boots but I just cannot say love them. If I work on hilly terrain they end up blistering my achilles tendon area no matter what I have tried. If I work on flat ground they are OK. Other than that , I like them. My buddy has the same brand and does not have the same issue.

good customer service

Got it in October. Start wearing when got colder in November. Heels started fall off the boots in December. Not recommending as work shoe's. But I started chatting with customer service and they gave me back money after I returned boots. Good guys but boots didn't work for me. Gave 4 stars

Good Solid boot

I love everything about these boots except for one thing. Maybe it's just my body, but I find the inside of my ankle is getting rubbed raw. Seems to be getting better as the boots work themselves in, but this is my observation so far in the first week with these boots.

I'm very happy with this purchase as they are very comfortable from the start. There was no need for a break in period. The boot fits true to size as well.

Not waterproof enough, bad laces

I avoid getting in snow or ground water because I expect soaked feet due to the lack of waterproofing. The laces gave out in 6 months. Fit is decent, style is great.
