Good product , very comfy
Very comfortable to wear, I’d say they are mildly effective, I use them at work because my legs get cold and it is uncomfortable. These help. I wouldn’t consider them for extreme colds

36" waist these aint
Hmmm, ... not very easy to wear, as they fall too freely. No pun intended. I think someone at Carhartt revised their measuring tape. I am sure most Cambodian garment workers think in metric scale, not in inches, so they likely dont get puns about regular size vs large, so I'll quit going there. I am not returning these long johns as I learn better with carrot and stick, seeing wasted money is the stick. I will try a smaller size.

Another good Carhartt product
I'm 5'11" 1/2 in. 152lbs. 31-32in waist and medium fits true for me. A good mid-weight baselayer, well made and should last for yrs to come. I have washed these once and had very little shrinkage. I have many pcs. of Carhartt clothing and at todays prices this is a good value. My one con is the wool is only on one panel, frt/back I can't remember now, thats not a dealer breaker for me.

Helps out in low temperatures
So they were a little loose but I’m up in North Dakota and they work great in the low teen temperatures I’ll have to buy the heavy weight ones before the negative temperatures hit so I can see if they will work great

Very Comfortable
Very comfy and warm. Didn’t want to take them off. Wish they were a little cheaper but that’s life. 100% recommend

Nice product
Although I thought they would be a little too light duty, they performed well during our last bought of could weather.

Great but signs of wear after 3 uses
I really like the fit and feel of these base layer pants. They kept me warm in -16 weather but are starting to show signs of wear already after just 3 uses. Also, there was a tag on it showing the price as $49.99 yet Amazon price is $60.99.

Nice
Good baselayer working construction in Toronto. Not going to keep you entirely warm but you should be wearing layers on really cold days and this acts as a perfect baselayer. Was really happy with mine so I asked for two more pairs for Christmas.
