Not comfortable, felt too small, not for me. I returned them for another style.

Buy Different Laces
It took me a long time to find a pair of steel toe shoes/boots that I didn't absolutely hate. I don't love these but I don't hate them either. Overall, the size fits about the same as any other steel toe shoe I've owned and they have a good amount of room in the toe box, which is usually what I'm most looking for. The big downside is the tongue and the laces. There isn't a tongue loop which was very surprising because they're so common I didn't even think to make sure it had one before buying. Needless to say, I have to adjust the tongue very frequently, although less so since I changed out the laces. That gets at the second point that the laces are just terrible. Even with double opposing knots, they get loose in no time. They are also too thick for the eyelets so they don't slide through them properly. That means that they will tighten up at the bottom eyelets and get super loose at the top, making the loose knot even worse. A cheap pair of Kiwi boot laces made all the difference. I still have to deal with adjusting the tongue way too often but at least that's my only complaint now. If they added a tongue loop and fixed the laces, I'd buy these again in heartbeat. As it is now, I'll still look next time to see if I can find something better.

Comfortable shoes!
Perfect shoes that are very comfortable. Had 1 pair of shoes but had to replace them after wear and tear inside the shoe mostly. Just bought another pair of them for work.

Durable Hiking Shoe/boot
I burn through shoes and sneakers quickly. I had a semi-retired job in retail and I needed a work shoe that could endure my 8 hr shifts. These Carhartt shoes feel like a hiking boot, are designed as a shoe. Over 10 years of abuse I am on my 5th and 6th pair (I switch off to prevent athletes foot fungus). Both pairs are new so I wore out 4 pairs. The shoes did not fall apart, the tread just wore off balance due to how I walk....think of an 80k car tire that's out of alignment. The shoes looked fairly good for years of wear except for some moderate signs of wear.

They look wonderful
I tried several steel toe shoes and I enjoyed these because they are not too clunky and the toe protection does not rub off the top of my toe area

Great field work shoes
I rolled the dice on these and it's been a couple months since I bought them. They're great! Very comfortable and all feet to breathe. I work as an enginner in a huge school so the floors were killing me. I'm a 10.5 but bought an 11 to leave some room in the shoe to also add arch support. Perfection finally. I hope this helps anyone looking for a good work shoe. I'm buying a spare set.

Simple, strong, effective
I'm on my feet in a garage for about 10 hours/day and these are a good shoe for it. I stomped through the first few weeks in my old work boots and these are far superior for the indoor working environment. The steel toes provide excellent protection, the outsoles are thick and tough, and the general design is without extra flaps of material to get caught on things so I'm never hung up on anything in that way. I wouldn't run through an oil spill, but the traction is pretty good otherwise. The slight heel is nice and gives them that boot like feeling without the heavy over coverage and extra weight if your environment doesn't demand that kind of ankle support.

Lightweight and Good for Work
Have been trying out various steel toes. I opted to try these recently. Was looking for something lightweight. They certainly are lightweight and get a 5 overall for that. As for comfort, they are somewhat comfortable, but if you are going to be on your feet walking in them for 10-12 hours I day, you may want to look elsewhere. Personally, I do not have to, but I noticed if I am out walking on our shop floors for extended periods of time the comfort is not what I would want for someone in that position. Overall satisfied with the purchase, but leaving some food for thought.

Not impressed
I purchased a pair of what I thought were top of the line work shoes (Cartharts). I am on my feet for 8-12 hours a day and need a good shoe to suit my busy lifestyle, 8 months into having them the backs are ripped out of them, and the support for my heel is completely gone…. Not impressed!! My return time is up and im out of a pair work boots… Thanks carhart…. Thanks

Already separation
The sole of the shoe separated. Shoe unusable. Could have been a factory defect or just low quality. I hope it was just bad luck and not all products are like this
