The Carhartt Legacy Women's Essentials Pouch Bag is a zippered purse that can be carried as a crossbody bag or, by shortening the adjustable and removable strap, can be worn as a waist pouch (strap adjusts from 27 to 55 inches). Removal of the strap allows the pouch to be carried inside of a larger tote for a more organized interior. This bag is constructed of a rugged fabric with Rain Defender durable water repellent and ready for whatever the day brings. Almost Perfect!

The size and material are perfect BUT I wish it had a zippered pocket inside. Other than that there's nothing to complain about, the color is steadfast , the size is great, we even got into the Carrie Underwood concert arena with it! You can adjust the strap which is also nice

Perfect Bag for Errands

This is my go-to bag for everyday errands, like quick trips to the store. Perfect size and I love that I can wear it as a crossbody. It fits my phone and a few small items.

Bought this bag cause first I like this brand and I did need a small bag that would match my outfits. It’s really cute on the sides you can pop the like things? off to make it a purse and it’s cute and small arrived super quick took 2-3 days. You can adjust it but I like the length!

Exactly what it says on the tin

I managed to fit a Nintendo Switch in this baby (took out the joycons to put in separately) and slip cash and cards into the inner pocket. That's all I wanted this for. I swapped out the bag strap for my own custom one so I can't say much on that front. TL;DR: Good for when you want to travel light with just your keys, cellphone, wallet, and maybe 1-2 tiny things. Don't try to overstuff it though.

The style and design are what i noticed first and the Carhartt fabric and workmanship made the purchase a must. Love the snap closure with lift attachment. Will buy another in classic gold color.

Super cute

This bag was actually pretty adorable I was looking for a crossbody and this did not hang the way I wanted it to and it was also a little smaller than I anticipated. If the straps were placed differently I would repurchase.

Not what I was hoping for

Just got it so I can't speak to durability. It does seem sturdy. I'll start with what I like: - It's the right size and shape for my purposes - The snap to close the flap is on a loop, so you can firmly press the snap closed without smashing the contents - The inside is a light colour, which makes it easier to see things inside Unfortunately, the workmanship reminds me of my own sewing, where it's structurally sound, but by the time I get to finishing, I am bored and just want to be done and start rushing. The stitching on the label is crooked; the ends of the bindings on the interior seams don't line up and stick out crookedly, and there are a few small spots where the web/strap ends aren't fully enclosed and may start to fray. I bought it because I wanted something nicer than I could make myself, but I don't feel like it meets that standard. Also disappointed with the design (this is my fault for not looking closer at the pictures). I don't like that the strap attaches with snaps - that simply isn't as secure as a buckle or clip. It does take a decent amount of force on the strap before the snap comes open (I tested) so I guess at least you would notice if it came undone? Also the shoulder strap doesn't make a particularly good belt if you want to use it as a belt bag. I was expecting some kind of loop where I could attach it to my actual belt. And an outside pocket for quick access would have been really helpful.

As a middle-aged dad I have no fashion obligations and this looked practical. But just to make sure I checked myself in the mirror as soon as it arrived, and I'm confused because I can't tell why this requires two x-chromosomes. Amazon says the vertically-oriented model doesn't. I'm sure the reviewers here are correct who say "super cute," "adorable," and "perfect for my 11-year-old grand-daughter," I just don't see it. Anyhow, I don't like carrying things in my pockets, and this charming little number solves that. It easily holds: My pocket knife, miniature tape measurer, 0.7mm mechanical pencil, notebook, cards, cash, and phone. The big surprise is I bought it as a fanny pack, but prefer wearing it across my right shoulder. It easily adjusts high up out of the way or to waist line for accessibility. Unlike a fanny pack it's not in the way when I get into the truck. Maybe wearing it as a purse like this means I'm more feminine than I thought. I'm surprised my wife hasn't told me. Maybe she gave up after I started wearing the kilt?
