Potent cutters!
I've only used these a few times. The steel they are made of is super tough and easily slices through hard 7 guage wire. I was stunned. The same wire was a very hard chore to cut with a pair on Johnny Come Lately brand X cutters that I bought when I misplaced my old pair of Craftsman Lineman pliers. The brand X pliers had dents in them after cutting the same heavy wire. The cutters' working edge of these Knipex end nippers showed no signs or wear of failure. They work so well, I felt like I wasn't working, but playing.

Pulls nails, does not cut them
This is a nail puller. It does not cut them. The head provides good leverage although the handles could be longer.

Quality product - sharp, tight and good finish -,even the box packaging better than average. Ibwill be buying more Knipex.

Excellent cutting tool.
Used it to snip excess off of wire brad nails; sharp; 10 inch handles; did it well; if I had to do it over again, I would get the next one up with longer handles - 12 inch for more leverage - model 5001300

Fresh out of the box and couldn't even clip a copper rivet.
It would not clip a copper rivet and that was it's only job in my shop.

Works as I expected excellent at pulling nails. Not effective at cutting framing nails.

Great product as advertised
Strong, sharp and sturdy cutting pliers. Easily cut off almost an-eighth thick nail. Recommend. Made in Germany.
