A shining star

This is the 2nd bottle I’ve purchased. It provides the perfect glow and is very complimentary to my skin tone. I mix it with my foundation before applying. It also eliminates the need for concealer & spot corrector on my skin - great coverage! The only reason I’m rating it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the applicator. It looks like a medicine dropper but it isn’t….so there’s a weird process to get it out of the bottle, & takes a while to get all the product needed. I think a tube or squeeze spout would be a much smarter choice, and far more user friendly.

Ordered two, one is nice, other arrived broken.

I ordered Ice and Rose Gold. Ice arrived fine and is a very pretty, light shimmer. Rose Gold was broken though and had become basically dried out and unusable. Amazon offered return or exchanged but bottle is literally open, so it ended up being a waste.

It’s okay?!

It can be very messy. The dropper is also hard to work with most of the time. Either you get nothing out of it or you get a little bit, even tho a little can go a long way.

Versatile

Versatile and does not clogged pores. I can easily use this as blush on, highlighter or even eye shadow. How cool is that?

ICE = Perfect winter highlighter! ❄️

I’d never heard of CARTER BEAUTY makeup before, but I like it! So far I’ve tried their brightening concealer, lipgloss, and now this highlighter. I got it in “ICE,” which is a beautiful pearly shade with a hint of pale pink. I was afraid it’d be too white and glittery, but it’s the perfect natural highlight for light-medium skin tones. It’s very buildable, too. Everything about this brand reminds me of NYX products. The shape of the bottles, the rubberized dropper cap, even the consistency of the makeup. This is a sheer liquid that’s very moisturizing. It blends easily and has a bit of sparkle and sheen. I apply it to my brow bones, eyelids, cheekbones, nose, above my upper lip, sometimes the center of my lower lip, and sometimes my décolletage. This shade photographs beautifully and doesn’t look too glittery in daylight. Stays on most of the day. It photographs beautifully!!! Highly recommend this! I’m tempted to get Rose Gold next… Hope this helps. ☺️

Very natural-looking, even on dry, mature skin

This highlighter in Rose Gold looks very natural as a blush and it's a gorgeous color. It even looks natural on my dry, 62 year old skin because it isn't sparkly - there's just a subtle, natural-looking shimmer. It's highly pigmented, so a tiny bit goes a long way, making the price of $9.48 pretty reasonable. I'd say that it was VERY reasonable if the ingredients didn't include chemicals like Phenoxyethanol and PEG - I don't normally use skincare products containing those ingredients, but this highlighter is used in such a tiny amount applied over moisturizer, sunscreen and foundation, that I wouldn't worry about it the way I would if it were a moisturizer or foundation. I love that this is cruelty free and I will definitely continue to use it and even try the other shades.
