Fabric is more than disappointing
Despite the top-stitching, contemporary style and intelligently made/well-located pockets, the quality of fabric used is awful. It is thin and rumples easily…like surprisingly thin. I was super excited to find this coat and just as disappointed when a few hours after ironing it looked like I slept in it. Yes, it’s cool in a hot kitchen as is but requires ironing/starch if one is meeting with clients and first impressions matter. It would be 5 stars if it had wrinkle resistant fabric

Nice but smells bad
I have this coat as well as the short sleeve version. I really like both of them, but they have an unpleasant odor. I thought the smell would go away after washing, but it didn’t - so I thought maybe they needed to air out for a while. I’ve been wearing them regularly, despite the smell (I do like them otherwise, and I didn’t want to buy more) but even after months of use & washing they still have an odor.

i sized up and it's big, hope it shrinks!
sharp looking. lightweight. doesn't pass as actual denim, but that would also be hot as balls in the kitchen. it has a sheen to it without being shiny. i find the arm device pocket a little awkward, and i don't really listen to headphones in the kitchen, but it's handy for other utility. I wish there were a breast pocket, but it would mess up the aesthetic. i just keep groping my boob trying to stick stuff in a pocket that doesn't exist. Also, i am a women's 8 depending, i ordered a medium instead of a small after reading one review. I wish i had sized down. It's not humongous on me, but definitely roomier than i would like. I am hoping it shrinks down into a more flattering fit once laundered.

Favourite chef coat ever
Fits like a dream, feels super chic, really comfortable fabric, and has just enough bells and whistles to be super useful. I'm 5'5', 36DD and the large fit me like it was made for me. Love it so much I bought another and have retired my other coats for now, just keeping the white one for cheese making etc.

Great jacket!
I am a pastry chef for a restaurant and bought this to protect my arms from being burned by the oven doors and racks. It’s a great jacket! I didn’t receive any new burns after I started wearing this every day. It looks nice and professional, I got lots of complements. It’s thick enough to prevent injury to the arms but breathable enough to not be too hot. No noticeable shrinkage after being washed and dried. I followed the sizing guide and it fit as expected, it was a little roomy in a good way for free movement.

I Won Christmas
I bought this jacket for my mom at Christmas and she loves it. She was complaining a lot that her aprons do not cover enough of her clothes and she was ruining her shirts with grease and such while cooking. I chose this one because the dark denim is very nice look and you can roll up the sleeves and they will stay up thanks to the strap that holds them. This was an important feature for my mother as she is petite (5'1") and has short arms. It also wears long on her so it will definitely cover any shirts she is wearing to cook in. Unfortunately she would not let me take a picture to post along with the review.

Sharp, attractive design but fits very tight.
Sharp, attractive design - one could almost wear it outside the kitchen! I was looking forward to a top that is cut for a woman's figure. One problem though: the Amazon page has no size chart. I'm a size 0, sometimes a size 2 depending on the manufacturer. I have lots of XS dresses in my closet. So I ordered an XS in this ChefWorks top but it's far too small around my torso. I can't zip it up. If all the sizes are proportionate to this one....order a size bigger than you think you need.

Nice coat, but a little narrow in hips for women.
This is a nice chef coat. I usually order the Hartford style which is looser in hips for women, whereas this one was narrower. The only disappointment was expecting a guaranteed delivery date for a catering function I had, and the coat did not arrive on time. Though, I did receive a hassle-free return.
