Accurate temperature & 1-hour temp hold

This is great for green tea. I have a Cuisinart kettle for black tea, but the water is too hot for green tea. This kettle does a wonderful job of getting the right temperature and keeping the temp for 1 hour. Works for multiple tea types. LOVE it !

"Keep warm" does not mean "keep hot"

I brew my coffee at 190 degrees. With a full pot onWarm, it drops about 15 degrees in ten minutes. That means I have to restart the heating cycle for my second cup. Not a major deal, it can be bumped back up quickly, but it is a minor annoyance and it cost them a star.

For the price was hoping for a more sturdy base. Other than that works great, keep warm feature nad adjustable temperature is nice.

Great kettle so far for the price

So i had read some of the reviews, one in particular that said the kettle seemed cheap or poorly made. Compared to the full price cuisinart, it might be thinner steel, and the handle is not as heavy or sturdy maybe, but this kettle works great, and its actually just as easy to use as the cuisinart, i actually prefer the controls to the cuisinart, which has separate buttons for each temp, and does not have an led readout for the temp. this kettle displays that the temp is currently at as it heats up to the desired setting. and there are just the up down and start top button, and they are flush almost with the plastic so its easy to wipe clean. yes the body of the kettle, ( mine was a warehouse used model, very good condition rating) is not as perfect of a surface as maybe others, its not dented or anything, but if you really inspect it in a certain light its maybe not extruded as perfectly as more expensive kettles, but its light, works great so far, and totally worth the money i paid.

I didn't even try this. I took it out of the box and immediately disliked the cheap feel of this kettle. The base is very lightweight / thin plastic. The kettle itself feels cheap. My $40 regular kettle is superior in quality to this. I'll pay $30 more and get the Cuisinart. This one's going back.

Quality control problem

The kettle itself looked good, was easy to operate and supposedly rich in functions. But the "keep warm" feature did not work from the beginning. The kettle showed "keep warm" message, green led light, but it was not warming up. It was just sitting cooling down. Returned for a replacement. The replacement I received was the used item in the box showing remains of the removed previous shipping label. The kettle base with electric cord was just absent. The user manual was also absent. What's a shameful way to handle the once already failed situation with the product! Returning for refund.

Para ser Chefman es uno de los productos de más poca calidad que he visto. Llegó abierta, no parece nueva, y el material deja mucho que dejar. Es una lástima, tenía muchas expectativas positivas para este producto.
