These are impressive, heavy-duty pans.

I was looking for new cookie sheets that I could also use for baking a few things and came across these while doing my search. I liked the reviews and also checked out the Chicago Metallic site. I am so happy I ordered these pans (I ordered 2 sets). These are heavy duty and yes a bit heavy but they bake evenly and wash up nicely by hand with soap and water. I never put my bakeware or cookware in the dishwasher only because I feel that a dishwasher is harsh on them and I like to keep my bakeware looking good. The cooling rack is a nice bonus and I like how it folds up for storage. These cookie sheets are larger than most other cookie sheets so I can really bake a lot on them and having the sides makes them great for baking other items. The non-stick makes it easy to get the baked goods up and clean up a breeze.

Nice quality

Heavy and sturdy. It feels and looks like very good quality. The non-stick is fantastic, especially on the rack. Cleans up VERY easily. I just hope the non-stick lasts. Overall I was very impressed.

Just what I needed

It's hard to find a high quality roasting pan with rack in a 13-inch-by-9-inch size. This Chicago roasting pan really fits the bill when you want to broil only one or two steaks or chops. Allows for quick clean-up and easy storage.

Amazing Affordable Quality!

I'm truly impressed with the quality n how well packaged this pan was. Now I reserve the right 2 change my review later since I haven't cooked with this yet. I had a great 1st impression of a different set of pan's that also seemed 2 be of superior quality but after just 3 uses the signature "Blue Non Stick" coating was coming off (very disappointing) not due 2 any utensil I used since I was very careful not 2 use any thing that would scratch them. When this pan came I was impressed right off with the weight of it. Its made with quality steel with folded corners. I could definitely feel the solidly - made like the pans my grand parent's/parents used. I hope in time it will prove 2 be the kind of thing u take care of so u can pass it along 2 u'r kids. 1 thing is sure this isn't made from the thin junk steel we're getting from China due 2 bad trade deals : (

Good for broiling or roastingi

Liked raised, removable rack. Did not clean easily after broiling 6" from heat source (electric) a couple of times. Good for small portions (4 chicken thighs or 4 patties).
