High Quality smooth skate
Wheel bearings seem to be higher quality, since they spin so easily. My daughter loves the skates because they don't slow her down. Where cheaper quality skates need you to push often to keep up with your friends, these don't. She said they are comfortable as well and have had no issues with them.

Not sure if these are worth buying?
Trying to be pretty realistic in my expectations for cheap cost roller skates Not surprising Before using had adjust the wheels as they are way way too tight -easy to do (tool “skate key” is included) as well the trucks - however the tool didn’t fit between the wheels so had to find and use a socket wrench. The bigger issue was that the skates were packed without any padding so the weight from the skate on top sortof crushed in the toe box on the skate on the bottom (including leaving little round dents from the metal eyelets.) This caused the toe to rub. Luckily husband had a set of those wooden dress shoe stretcher things and we used it to “pop” the dents out and stretch the toe box back to shape- had to leave in place for several days and also hit it with a blow dryer on high heat to help reform the vinyl boot. So far it’s ok... (Yes, I Debated returning but had already had shipping issues with a prior pair that never arrived so wasn’t really in the mood to order yet again...) This may turn out to be a classic “you get what you pay for”- will let you know how they hold up....

Great for Beginners
These are good skates for beginners. I hadn't skated in years so they are perfect. I replaced the wheels with a better quality of wheel. And I also replaced the toe stops with gumball brand stops, and they feel much better because they grip alot better than the original ones. Other than that, the skates are tight and feel really safe and sturdy. One problem I almost forgot. Theydont have half sizes so don't go up a size...go down. Mine are too big so I have to wear 2 pair of socks. So yes I recommend these for Beginners.....maybe Novice. So enjoy!

Pay Attention
Did research & read lots of reviews prior to purchase. Bought a 10 for myself & a 7 for my BFF; both were a whole-size too big. Tried to “exchange” mine for a 9, but noticed prior to purchasing, the name of the exchanged model didn’t have the word “deluxe”, so I had to return them and wait until the credit came through to repurchase a “Deluxe” 9. My friend’s size 7 were a whole size too big also. Once again, tried to do an even “exchange” for a 6 & this time I made the mistake of trusting that my friend would receive the same EXACT skate in a smaller size. Wrong! She got stuck with a cheaper, less comfortable version. Should’ve listened to my intuition but we wanted to go roller skating on her birthday so timing was everything. Chicago Skates, I hope you read my reviews and call me! I also hope you do the right thing & send my friend the deluxe pair I originally purchased! More importantly, I hope you practice accountability & transparency in your business! Hoping this is an oversight & that nobody else is fooled trying to do an “exchange”.

Good solid product!
I'm 57 years old. Thought this was a good idea one night at 3am when I couldn't sleep. While it is a quality product, I question my decisions at 3am

Decent skate
This is a decent option for beginners, I've been skating for 20+ years so I probably move a bit more on the floor and first time I wore them the toe stop fell off! Very dangerous.... I'd suggest tightening everything before you hit the floor.

Just what I needed
I used to skate all the time, but got out of the habit for several years. I started skating again and had to use the skating rink skates, which we all know are terrible. I searched for a pair of personal skates for a long time and came across these. They reminded me of the skates I used to have so I ordered them. They did not disappoint. They are comfortable, they fit perfectly, and were exactly what I needed for indoor use.
