Affordable 1-season tent option for large groups OR if you want a roomy tent
This tent has a ton working for it - storage pockets, a nice hook at the top to hang a lantern from, easy assembly thanks to the instructions that are sewn into the stuff sack to prevent losing them, and tons of space. It packs back down into the stuff sack (although a little cinching is required, which is made easier with the sack's built-in straps) and is fairly portable when taken down. I was a huge fan of the fact that the tent corners have metal stakes at the ends which feed up through the hollow bottoms of each pole to keep things secured, which can be an issue with larger tents. The rainfly has a hook that clips onto the eye of each corner stake, so the entire thing is nicely fitted together. The poles feel a little flimsy and have a tendency to come apart, but the packed weight would have been significantly heavier if they were any sturdier. If you are looking for an affordable 6-person tent that ONLY will be used in ideal weather conditions, this is likely a good fit for you. Due to the design (inner tent is mostly mesh with a rainfly that only offers coverage if the rain is pouring straight down with 0 wind), this should strictly be considered a 1-season tent. Unless you can guarantee little to no wind with 0% chance of rain, this is NOT the tent to rely on to protect against inclement weather. Most 6-person tents start at around $200, so to find one for under $100 is pretty exciting, but it's also important to note that those 6-person tents are built for 2 or 3 seasons, whereas this tent is only suitable for 1. Additionally, the weight is advertised as 10.58 lbs but I discovered it is actually closer to 14 lbs - although most 6-person tents are similarly weighty, the weight is justified by their multi-season versatility. If the true packed weight of this tent was actually 10-11 lbs as advertised, its single-season nature would be more understandable. But it weighs as much as other 6-person tents without offering the same level of protection from the elements that the others do. Given its weight and single-season nature, I would not recommend for backpacking. The weight can easily be distributed amongst several people, but the shelter likely wouldn't be hardy enough to withstand the variable weather conditions that often arise while backpacking. If car camping or trekking a short distance to your campground, this is a roomy and affordable option. My husband and I typically use the North Face Stormbreak 3 if we know high winds and rain are likely. It does a great job of literally breaking any storm, but we prefer larger tents whenever the weather permits. With this tent, we are able to fit all of our gear (backpacks, boots, water supply, lantern, firewood, etc.) with plenty of extra room to move about freely. I can fully stand up in the middle of the tent even with the optional mesh hanging basket installed (I'm 5'2") and even though my 6'1" husband couldn't stand up all the way, he can walk freely around if he stoops/bends (which is a far cry from having to crawl around like he has to in our smaller tent). Only one entrance/exit, which might be problematic if actually filling the tent to max capacity with 6 people, but if a smaller group is sharing the tent, this shouldn't be an issue. The side opposite the door offers a large window with a smaller vent at the bottom - the rainfly has a separate pole that runs perpendicular to the window/door, which creates a peak. While this would be great for ensuring airflow in warm, dry weather, this also compromises the protection offered from the rain. I'm also not 100% sure what the purpose of the bottom vent is (located beneath the main window). Most tents have vents at the top to keep things from getting too hot and stuffy, but a vent at the bottom doesn't make much sense to me since cold air sinks and warm air rises.

Good tent for the price
This tent was really easy to set up with good instructions that were sewn into the storage bag (which I like so they do not get misplaced). A big win was that I was able to pack everything up and put it back into the bag with it closing easily, which is typically a challenge for me. So this is a nice, compact tent to bring along but I don't know if it could sleep 6 comfortably. I am taking the view of a 6' person, however and I have two sons about my height so I really can't see 6 of us fitting in there. My wife, two sons, my daughter? No way. However, it still offers a nice amount of room, I like that there are pouches along the sides for smart phones or whatever you want to keep off the ground, there is a slot for electrical cords to fit through, a hook to hang a lantern, some nice features. The rain fly works well as long as the directions are followed (you don't want to miss a step). The quality is good but not great and hence I give it 4 out of 5 stars but the price point is really good.

9x9x5 ft Tent
The media could not be loaded. Not Quite the size in description.... Description says essentially 10ft x 10ft x 6 ft 1... But in reality, the after-setup sizing is more: - NINE feet each direction, width by depth - FIVE feet high inside, max droop height. Yes, of course, you COULD still press it upwards to about SIX feet high, but it definitely doesn't stand that high. I'm almost 6' 3", so I would know if I could stand up in there, and no, most definitely I cannot. So I got my tape measure and measured it to just over 60" at its "standard setup droop height" All that said, there's no doubt it's still a nice tent. Just be mindful: - Not quite as big height / width or depth as description says - Only has ONE big window on one side, and a HALF screen window on the door side - If you set the tent up in the WIND and RAIN... -- You'll probably get SOAKED inside, because there's no way for the RAIN FLY to truly be well secured, and it will almost certainly BILLOW up and may even FLY OFF because it's not super well attached -- Rain Fly has tie down straps, but no zipper, no hooks, no way to keep it solidly in place in turbulence -- That BIG SCREEN window on the side is great for visibility and air flow in gentle weather, but will be a MAJOR problem if that rain fly billows up and flies off... because there's no way to seal, zip closed, or otherwise deflect rain from that screen/window... it's just out there, exposed. So... Within its design limitations and as long as you're careful about expectations... it can be a great tent. FOR SURE, it's PERFECT for backyard, basement or gameroom indoor setup and play. But as a true camper's solution... caveat emptor~
