Great boots and even better if you have low arches

LOVE these very lightweight boots!!! The only reason I did not give them 5 Stars is because I can feel the top of the boot on the top of my feet. It doesn’t hurt but I do feel it. My fault in part because I have super high arches. If you don’t have high arches, you will LOVE these boots even more than I love them! They are not wide looking like some boots are, and they are up on the ankle high enough that you aren’t always adjusting your pant cuffs....they do not get caught in your boot. Definitely recommend. I haven’t had experience in wet weather...yet, but I asked other Amazon customers, and they all said these boots stood up to the weather very well!

Blossomed into great boots after a rough start

I am editing this review after having these boots for about a month. I am increasing the rating to 5 stars. I now never want to take these boots off. They are really comfortable and also cute. A nice thing is that the foot beds are replaceable. They don't hurt anymore and it only took maybe 3 wears to wear them in (I've worn them with socks reach time since my first bad experience with no socks). The only problem is I'm not quite sure how to clean the fabric upper. It's a fairly soft, weird fabric that I've never experienced (but it is a nice feeling and looking fabric). It kind of looks like it has pores. I looked around and couldn't find anywhere where it said exactly what the fabric is. I guess maybe I'll try just a cloth with water. It doesn't seem like the fabric had dirt sink in; i.e. they are pretty dirt-repellent. As far as I can tell they are also water-repellent, but I didn't like stand in a lake or anything. The boots have gotten pretty dirty from dirt and salt in Minnesota in the winter (can I say dirt more times?). Stuff comes off the bottoms/soles just fine because they are that plastic rubber material (can't remember the name of it). Below is my original review. After reading the reviews I expected these to be like, impossibly soft, considering someone even said they were too soft. I guess the soles are pretty cushy, but the sides and back are not comfortable. I wore them with socks the first time and they kind of rubbed weird on one heel. I wore them without socks the second day and it was not good at all. I usually wear most shoes and boots without socks and expected these to be ok, but they rubbed badly, especially on my inside ankles where the zippers are and on my heels. I was able to tuck in my pants to shield the zippers a bit. I may increase this to 5 stars later if they break in and become more comfortable. Like I said, the soles are cushy and didn't cause any pain. They are also cute (but the black gets dirty fast).

They are wonderful

Nobody does high tops like Clarks. As cute as they are comfortable. As light as egg shells. They feel delicious. I have four pairs of Clarks high tops. They all take me places, I walk miles in them.

Manufacturer defect on LEFT boot that I wish they would send me a replacement for ...

I love, love, LOVE these boots. However, there seems to be a manufacturer's flaw … I tried to live with it but couldn't ….. the left high arch has a bunch of leather in a seam or something that made my foot hurt and, in fact, left a deep imprint on my upper left foot. I would order another pair but I noticed another buyer mentioned the same thing. I would like to have these but now I'm afraid to order them again. I wish the manufacturer could mail me another left 7.5 Wide as a replacement but I couldn't find out who to contact them. I did order the WIDE width too! I'm SO sad. :( :( :(

Comfort Zone

As someone who walks a lot, I am always on the lookout for comfortable slip-on booties & shoes and these did not disappoint. Don't know how I've missed these!. I love that they are (1) vegan, (2) comfortable (the insoles!), and (3) stylish. My biggest challenge was figuring out the right size so I hope this helps someone else. I normally wear 7M in Skechers pull on sneaker (the stretchy knit ones) but after reading ALL the reviews on the cloudsteppers I was hesitant to order my usual size. I went by the Clark's sizing chart and the reviews and, because I have a moderately wide toe box area due to bunions, and because this boot is not stretchy material like Skechers, I ordered up to 7-1/2 W. The width was perfect but the length was 1/2" too long so I returned them for 7W and they were perfect. So, for sizing purposes my foot is 9.5" long and 3.5" wide. Very happy with these boots and definitely recommend.

Worth the time to "break in"

I read other reviews and knew my feet would probably be squeezed on top, and they were. I stuck with them though, and they were broken in well within a week. Now they are one of the most versatile pairs of shoes that I own. I am usually not a proponent of keeping shoes that don't fit right out of the box, but these were worth it!

Love these boots

Good cushion, water resistant and cute. No traction and snow can get inside, but they are that rare shoe that looks cute and will be comfortable when walking up to 5 miles.

too small

I wear 38 to 38.5 in shoes size. Returned them because size 38.5 was too small :(

Great boots at good price...

Love these boots - comfy, light and great colour. Slight issue with size - I actually take size 3.5 but often buy size 4 in boots because of probably wearing them with winter socks - however, despite being size 4 these are snug to say the least!
