Wish they were a little more form fitting.
The fabric is good, but we found them to be rather baggy. When you put pants/slacks on over them, they tend to bunch up. Other than that they are a suitable length and light weight.

A comfortable base layer
I purchased one Journey and one ColdPruf Men's Enthusist Pant over a year ago. I have since purchased two more Journey as their fit, warmth, and comfort exceeds the Enthusist, which I found loose fitting. In colder weather I add a second layer of traditional cotton knit long john pants over these.

Warm and soft
Actually ordered these for a costume but I will probably wear them when cold. They fit decent and are warm and soft.

Measurements for size Medium; Care instructions
The waist on the mediums I received measures 29" inside and stretches out past 45", though once you get to 34" it's getting into the gray area between snug and tight. Medium in these is supposed to match 32-34 pants size. Those pants sizes actually typically measure 34-36" inside (because we're bigger there than we think), so those who normally wear those sizes will find these fit snugly at the waist, maybe extra snugly. I wear a snug belt anyway, so I don't notice. The seat and crotch are extra roomy, which will work better under loose outer layers than tight ones. If you're going to use two layers underneath pants I'd make these the second layer, not the base. The inseams are 30", which if you wear 32" inseams (and don't drag them on the ground) will put these above your ankle knobs where they should be. But if you're taller than that, you might want to look for the tall size mentioned at the size chart but not currently offered at this listing. The leg openings at the ankles are 6-1/2" inside but stretch out to 12", plenty big enough for most people who wear size medium. The polyester fabric is brushed on the inside to make it fleecy, so these feel thicker and warmer than most, designed for cold to very cold with medium to high activity. They do feel good under my regular-cut denims. (There's clearly elastic in the waistband, even though it's not listed as part of the fiber.) Machine wash warm with like colors, non-chlorine bleach if needed, tumble dry low heat, remove promptly, cool iron. Assembled in Mexico of US components.

If you have longer legs, you may be unhappy.
So I now have both the tops and bottoms of this set. The fabric is the same for both the top and these ColdPruf Men's Journey Performance Base Layer Pant. The color is mud brown, and the feel is like any similar microfiber. They are thicker than, say, Patagonia's base layer. As far as sizing, for a medium the waist is great, but they do run short... perhaps a 32 inseam. If you have longer legs, you may be unhappy. I used this everyday for 2 weeks in the southern African bush. It was close to freezing every morning. It's a comfortable pant, but I have to say that the bulk was an issue on this trip, where space in my duffel was at a premium.

Warm base layer
These fleece base layer pants are a lightweight fleece but should add a pretty good layer of warmth and insulation for colder outdoor activities. They fit me as a 32"x32" just fine, not tight to the skin, but a little extra room. The material as 100% is moderately elastic, and like the long sleeve ColdPruf shirt, I wish the leg cuffs were more elastic for a tighter fit around the ankles that won't stretch and not recover, but so far they seem good. The waist does have a regular elastic band that should hold up well. They are the standard Army Coyote color and can be worn under a uniform, jeans, athletic pants, etc.

Provide good base layer but sizing is a little off
I was expecting these to fit a little better, they turned out to be baggy around the upper thigh and crotch area. The material is brushed internally so it give yous a very soft "fluffy" feeling. To be clear these are meant to be worn as an under layer, think fancy long johns. They use material similar to workout legging so you get the moisture wicking and heat performance because they are thicker. I can't wait to try them out on my next ski trip under my bibs.

Very warm, but WEIRD fit!
The weave of the fabric was very warm, and fit well on my legs; however, it was tight in the crotch, baggy around the fly, and low in the back of the waistband, which was very uncomfortable overall: I'm 5'10" and 210lbs, and usually take a Large in North American sizes; but, I couldn't imagine a smaller or larger size improving the fit, for me; so, I had to send them back... I got an exchange for the Black Polypropylene "Enthusiast" single-layer Large bottoms by ColdPruf, and they fit and work very well indeed!
