Been a great cord…doesn’t like cold that much.

Usually when I am using this cord in cold weather I am not worried about winding it up. It’s a generator cord and the first goal is to get power to somewhere. BUT if winding it up is something you’ll need to do in cold weather expect to be annoyed by this cord. If it’s near 32 or below outside and I do need to wind it up I’ll just leave it inside for a bit and wind it up later. It doesn’t like to bend in the cold! So bottomline is know what you want. Straight power delivery or flexibility AND power delivery in extreme cold. If you want both in COLD weather I suggest the US wire EXTREME cords. THIS however is NOT a bad cord in anyway. Just know what you are buying!

Excellent 20 amp extension cord

This is just what you would expect, a sturdy 20 amp suitable extension cord. They are very difficult to find.

Worth It

This extension wire is incredible: I ran a nineteen amp power washer on it for hours, and there was no heat build up. While it is heavy in weight, it is also heavy duty. It cost a lot, but it's worth protecting our home for a potential fire hazard using a lighter AWG. I also love the power on light indicator. I would recommend it.

A Solid Product that You PAY for

I purchased this extension cord for my wood/metal shop as a way to preserve my top end corded power tools and it has done its job. The cord is a heavy SO type and both ends are securely installed on the cord. Keep in mind that this is a heavy duty power extention cord for 20 Amps and thus if you have a 15 Amp breaker and corresponding outlet the configuration of the prongs is different and will not plug in. When in doubt, do a quick check to verify you are indeed using a 20 Amp Breaker with corresponding correct outlet. With a cord this expensive, you don't want to have it just sit on the ground collecting dust.
