Avoid the mess of spilling your Coleman Liquid Fuel with help from a Coleman Filter Funnel. Just slide it into the fuel tank on your Coleman Liquid Fuel stove or lantern and start pouring. The vented end speeds up the process by letting air out, and a removable filter in the bottom blocks any debris from getting into your appliance. When you're done, store it in the included resealable bag to keep the fuel from getting on your other gear. Features: - Stops filling at correct fuel level - Great for use with liquid fuel stoves or lanterns - Resealable storage bag - Not for use with peak 1 or ultra light gear appliances

Seems like a nice funnel
Nice funnel. Doesn't allow overflow

Handy for filling lanterns and stoves
for anyone that has used these you know how handy they are, but if you do not know or have never used on they are very handy in that they have an air outlet up the middle, to allow air out of the fount as you fill, in addition they have a filter in the bottom of the funnel as well.

Fan of metal/felt funnel, but this works too
Has a bleed hole so fuel doesn't spit back upon you. Works.

Slick funnel but most people can't figure out how to use it properly. Instructions follow.
Beats filling the tank with a regular funnel. Be careful if you use in on smaller lantern tanks like a Dual-Fuel 226. It will overflow the tank when you pull it up and turn it to drain the last of the fuel. It's made for full size stoves, lanterns and catalytic heaters. I have noticed that many people complain about this funnel not working correctly. Not trying to make you guys look stupid, but the funnel to tank filler neck joint MUST BE air tight. Cram it in hard! Without a good seal, It's like holding the funnel away from the filler neck...the air is forced out of the tank between the funnel and neck allowing an overfill, defeating the purpose of the design. The black "L" shaped piece is the vent, not around the neck as in a conventional funnel. The inside bore of the filler neck MUST be rust free and smooth. If it's rough or corroded the funnel will not seal properly and use will eventually gouge grooves in the soft plastic of the funnel, allowing air to leak out. The instructions should be more explicit on this, but I would have thought the "supposedly intelligent" people in the USA could figure it out. Y'all must have been asleep in 5th grade science class. LOL Hope this clears things up!

It is a relief to know that dirt won’t get in the tank.
It was easy to use.

A must for Coleman products
I bought this to use with my Coleman Northstar lamp and it works perfectly. Arrived quickly It comes in a heavy duty resealable bag which is great for keeping the smell of fuel in and stopping anything becoming contaminated with flammable liquid. it also keeps any debris out of the filter. The filter itself has a fine gauze mesh which eliminated debris entering the fuel tank To use simply insert the filter into the tank and slowly pour your desired flammable liquid in, once the actual filter fill with fuel slowly remove it and the excess will drain into the tank leaving no excess spillage. To conclude- An excellent bit of kit and a must for safely filling Coleman products.

Good item, just a bit pricey for what it is.
I bought this to fill up my sportster stove. I did try other funnels but none worked as well as this one. A bit expensive for what it is but will save you money in the end after buying others that don’t work as well.

Good but time will tell
Works well but I am not happy with the plastic foam filter which looks to me like it can lose plastic particles into the filtered fuel causing the very problem it is meant to avoid.

Expensive item
Just an expensive plastic funnel that fits well to the Coleman dual fuel stove. For what is is, £10 for a branded plastic funnel. Nothing special.

You need this
they are great.firstly they fit in securely secondly they have a filter, but best off all you cant over fill ( if you pour sensibly ) as they stop taking fuel and leave enough space to take what is left in the funnel. No spills
