Buy if you want stinky feet ????

Bought these for my bf since Columbia is a good brand & they emphasize that they have antibacterial soles, and oooohweeeeeeee ????‍???? idk if that even mattered cause they made his feet stink! His feet don’t usually have an odor, but after wearing these to shoreline fish, they were unbearable. I will also mention that they take forever to dry. Oh, and if you attempt to wear with socks, they are almost impossible to get on as the sole material does not let your foot slide in.

Can't get in them with socks! And still tough with bare feet...

So the concept of the shoe is well thought out, but the communication of the features are not. The insole is made of rubber, with no cloth overcoat. So just grippy, non-slip rubber. This makes them great for shedding water and moisture, but it is nearly impossible to "slide" your foot in with socks. It was almost as hard without socks as the rubber insole is a bit grippy. Even when all the laces were loosened it was still a rough go to get your foot in. Should be noted in the description to avoid surprises.

Sizing completely wrong

These would be great shoes if they could just get the sizing right. I had purchased a size 10 men’s, that’s what I ordered and that’s what it said on the box when I received them. It was clearly written on the box men’s size 10. Unfortunately the only person this size 10 will fitt is a child.It baffles me me how the shoes companies can let their products go out the door without being inspected. As always the onus is put on the customer to try and figure out what size will actually work which means you have to keep ordering and hope that they fit. My guess is I would have to purchase these three times in a row in order to maybe get a Size that fits. That means ordering and returning numerous pairs enable to find one that works. That’s completely unacceptable and I can’t believe how many companies that make shoes like Columbia Merrill etc. can’t figure this out. I’m just not going to do it anymore, I’ll buy something else. Definitely do not recommend this product because of the sizing issue. I am very surprised that all the reviews say how well they fit, that is definitely not the case or I would own one or two pairs right now. Good luck.
