Small... really small
I noted on many of the reviews for columbia that their trousers tend to run small, and many people recommend buying up 1-2 sizes. In American sizes, I typically wear an 18 (sometimes a 20, if I want something lose, or it runs a bit small), so I bought these in a 22. The 22 is too tight. I can get them on okay, but you can see some pulling across the front of the trousers, indicative of being slightly too tight, so they're unflattering. Admittedly, it's my bloated time of the month, so I may try them on again in a few days, but I rather doubt even then that they'll fit and look right. Shame. So if you're ordering these, I'd recommend going up 2 sizes.

As others have mentioned these are too small
I could get them on, but that's about it. I have already initiated the return.
