Perfect winter coat
I bought this coat because I live in a really cold climate and find it hard to find a warm winter coat. I'm also petite so they're usually too big, but this one fit great. I love the liner, sometimes I just wear the liner when the temperature is 30 F or above. The shell is water and wind resistant. The liner isn't water resistant but it dries fast. It's nice to have the option of wearing them together or separate. I like the color too. The hood is also toasty with a fur liner.

Very warm and versatile coat
A very warm coat that does not make you look like the Michelin man. The zip out inner lining and detachable hood are excellent. I paid for expedited shipping and arrived 5 days earlier than predicted. In time for a trip to the mountains. There are 5 pockets total Only things I would change: #1.move 2 of the front pockets to the side--slash style side pockets are better to tuck hands into. Keep the zippers on at least 2 pockets. #2. Drawstrings or elastic on wrist to adjust the size --without the lining, these are loose and a bit too long.

Very warm
This Jacket is very warm. It has nice pockets. It is a bit bulky but is to be expected with the 2 layers. It is water repellent and I am happy with my purchase. It looks cute with my Columbia snow boots and matches perfectly. I got the brownish color in 3x

Warm. Great color
edit .. I do like this jacket... but...when wearing a tee shirt, and sweating, it is like wearing wet plastic to get my arms out of the sleeves. Not a deal breaker, just wondering WHAT WERE YOU THINKING COLUMBIA?Warm. Just shoveled the walkway. Metro MN. Feels like 5 with wind 28mph. Love the hood. I flipped the furry part of the hoodie so it allowed even more length and I had amazing wind cover for my face ! The bottom covers nicely too. I ordered xl, large would have been a better fit, but it gives me great coverage of the weather so I kept it.

Great jacket
I love this coat and use all three configurations --the light black puffer is super warm in the fall, the shell is my raincoat, and when fully assembled it's my warm, cozy winter jacket. Two things I wish I could change, but couldn't find anything else that worked better in my price range: 1) I wish the waist were more fitted or that the hips were wider. I don't have wide hips at all, but the small fit me with the belly super baggy and hips okay, xs fit still bigger than I'd like in the belly (but at least I didn't look pregnant) but tight in the hips. I figured I'd rather have the hips tight than have people asking me when I was due--life's all about tradeoffs. 2) I wish the hood were deeper. Why are all coat hoods made for someone with an oval skull and no ponytail? My round head always leaves my forehead uncovered, and when I put my thick hair up in a ponytail or bun hoods usually cover only half my head at best. This hood is actually noticeably deeper than the other coats I tried, which is what led me to keep it even though the fit was imperfect, but another 3" on the hood would sure be nice. Overall, this coat is durable, versatile, and has a great feel/texture. I recommend.

Wonderful 3 in 1 coat
I love this coat. It is really warm when two parts are worn together. The hood has a soft inside and an adjusting buckle on the back, as well as pull string to tighten it around the face. The fur piece can be removed entirely. The inside jacket has thumb loops that eliminate drafts up the arm, and, of course, it can be zipped out to allow each section to be worn separately. The outer layer has 5 pockets, one zippered and one snapping on each side as well as the zippered breast pocket. All of the zippers on the coat work very easily and the main zipper has a bottom opener to ease walking or sitting.

Worked great in subzero weather
The two-layer approach worked great, exactly what I wanted. You can wear one or both as needed. In particular, I liked the length to the upper thigh.

The one cold-weather coat you need for an active life!
I love this coat so, so much. The plum color is gorgeous. There are two sets of pockets, both of which can be secured (one zippered, one with a snap) and they hold a ton of stuff. Storing a large phone, masks, hand sanitizer, gloves, etc is no problem with this coat. There's also a fifth well-hidden pocket with a zipper and flap on the outside at the chest level. The inner lining is just gorgeously shiny when you have it zipped into the coat, and it is the only removable lining that I've ever seen that looks great when you wear it by itself (at which point it's a fairly warm black quilted jacket with no hood). The fake fur hood looks lush and can be detached and reattached via buttons. The coat has an inner zipper lining, plus snaps, that go all the way up to the neck, and there are two additional elastic button fasteners that can seal the coat shut all the way to your chin. the inner jacket liner has elastic thumb bands so that the coat sleeves can be sealed tight over or under gloves. It's just incredibly thoughtful, high-quality construction and it feels like it's going to last forever.

Good quality
The material seemed to be good, the design as well. I ordered S and M size none of which worked for me. In general, it seems it is designed for very tall women around 170 cm.

Might change my opinion of winter
The fabric, the fit, all those pockets - and it looks sharp too! I haven’t taken the layers apart yet. I won’t need to until April. Maybe. The only thing it’s missing might be zippered vents, but the cut of the coat may offset that. Columbia never disappoints!

Love the style of the jacket
I love love love this jacket! I haven't been able to use it yet since I plan to use it for ice fishing! I love the style and color! The interchange system is slick you can wear either pieces for spring fall or both for winter! I sized up im usually a large , I wanted room to wear ski pants and layer up ,and there is definitely extra room for all that! I can't wait to test the jacket in the cold canadian winters in Saskatchewan bundled up on the ice!
