Velcro sucks
I don't like the velcro along the zipper. Stupid idea.

Super warm and very light.
So happy with both the price and the speed of delivery. Arrived just in time for the temperatures to drop to the low teens. It keeps me warm as is or I could layer a sweater under if I needed to. I bought a small, I’m 5’4” and weight 120 lbs. It’s perfect.

As "Mainer", this coat is nice!
A few reviews complained the coat isn't warm.... My question to them is: have you not heard about the necessity of layering in sub zero temps? Lived in Maine my whole life off and on, I am no stranger to serious Nor' Easters that drop several feet of snow with arctic winds or sub zero temps. That said, this winter coat is decent, so if you like it, buy it. Do you need to layer when it's -10 or -20? Umm, heck yeah! But that's with any coat in my wintertime experience. This coat is true to fit, I may have been able to go a size down but prefer a bit of excess in my coats anyway. I'm between 5'7 and 5'8 and around 200 with very large bust, my bust size was why I chose xxl, as I've had difficulty zipping up over my breast when layering up in the past. That said, I am happy with my coat, I haven't bought a nice winter coat in years so I treated myself. And yes, the hood is very big as some reviews say, but, that is what the little velcro strap on the back is for, to adjust the hood, keeping it pulled back more, which works perfect. I do wish that the coats came with some sort of zipper pull/lead, so I'll probably be adding some type of Keychain or trinket thing. But, nice coat!

Columbia Jacket.
I was hesitate to purchase this Jacket because of the reviews about the Zipper being difficult to Zip. It was difficult but,I used some chapstick and rubbed on the Zipper to help lubricate it and it has worked fine so far. The jacket is very nice and warm. its not to bulky.I am really glad I purchased it now!!

Nice coat for mid range winter temperatures
I don’t typically leave reviews but I felt that it was needed in 2020 when everyone is buying things they need online. This is a nicely constructed coat but depending on where you live it might not be warm enough. If you’re looking for a coat to wear in approximately 40 degree temps this is a nice jacket. It is not warm enough for freezing temps or below. It’s simply too lightweight for anywhere too cold in spite of the photos which make it look thick. There are two main complaints I have with the design. The zipper is very sticky and constantly gets caught on the coat lining. It’s a huge pain when you’re trying to rush out the door or get to work. My other criticism is the cut of the pockets make even the most slender person look poofy in the stomach area. Not a huge concern, but something to consider. The coat is comfortable overall and the material is nice. I got the navy blue and the color is very pretty. I ended up having to buy a different coat for colder temps but this one is still nice.

I love this coat but...
This coat is what I was looking for, it’s long enough for me, it’s lightweight, it has cuffs, zipper pockets, the color is like a navy blue but I honestly think the velcro alongside the main zipper serves no purpose, the only thing it does is just being annoying because the velcro gets in the way and sticks together when I’m trying to reach for the zipper, another thing that I’ve been having fights with is the double zipper, maybe I’m not used to it, but it’s another annoying thing trying to line up the zippers and stick the other piece in, I have to try and pull the zipper at least twice before i can successfully zip it up, but like I said maybe it’s just me, I got this coat in Large so this way I can layer up. So far I have not wore it in freezing temperatures so I’m not sure how warm it would be under those temperatures, but around 40s and 50s F then it’s perfect ????????

I'm 5'3"and 170 lbs
UPDATE: The day this coat was delivered, I found it on the Columbia website for half the price. I contacted the seller and asked them to adjust the price but they refused. I asked if they would give me a discount on a 2nd coat in a different color and they refused. So, I'm sending it back to them and purchasing directly from the manufacturer website. I absolutely love this coat! It's soft, warm and very comfortable! I'm 5'3" and 170 lbs. It's falls about halfway down my thigh. It's not tight through the arms, chest or back even with arms crossed in front. The lining inside the pockets is a warm fleece. The hood can be cinched around the face, the fur trim can be removed or the entire hood can be removed. The only reason I gave 4 stars vs 5 stars is that the collar is quite stiff and covers my lower face when fully zipped but that might be a good thing for someone else.

So impressed with this jacket!
I'm 5'6" and am around 300 lbs with most of my weight carried in the middle. This jacket in a 3X was much better than expected! It's light but yet still warm and the length is perfect! I was concerned it may be too tight across my tummy but there is still some room that I can wear a thicker sweater or hoodie if need be. Love the fact that it was the double zipper and have had no issues so are. The pockets are deep and roomy and are lined with fuzzy so it's great for cold hands. Love that the hood can be adjusted. Normally hoods tend to fall over and land at my nose, so can't see out of it...this hood is perfect! Sits exactly where a hood should. Normally winter coats for plus sized women are ridiculously prices in stores at several hundred dollars for no-name coat. My last coat, on sale was over $300 so loved that I get a Columbia jacket, in my size, that fits well for $150 :) Would definitely purchase again!

I love this jacket
They ran out of color, I had to order the white jacket. The white is more like pearly color. I love this jacket. It's not heavy, it's long, and it keeps you warm in very cold weather. You dont sweat inside of it. The hat fits nicely and its adjustable. It has big nice pockets. I can fit 3 of my cell phones in one pocket! Its chick and stylish. I look like a million dollar girl in white pearly color jacket! They have extra large size, if you have extra pounds, or you are little big, it can fit you perfectly. Its roomy!

Just love this winter coat!
I love this winter coat. It has a very reasonable price for Columbia. The color is beautiful. It is a little bit different than the color on the picture but I love it. I usually wear large but I took an x-large and it is perfect. There is place to wear a bigger sweater underneath and there is place to move. The length is great too. It covers most of the thigh but leaves the knee and part of the thigh free for walking. The pockets are large so a phone and a spear of gloves could fit. The hood is removable so that is great. Also, it fits well. The false fur is nice and makes it look good. The coat is very light and warm. The only part that I struggled with is the zipper. I just got my coat today so hopefully the zipper will be less stiff and it will last. Will keep you posted if I have issue with that part. Other than that, I am very happy with my purchase!

Warm but not water resistant
It’s cute, lightweight and super warm but definitely not water resistant. If you want to use it in a cold rainy day you probably will need an extra coverage for the water. I got an extra size because I wanted to use layers under it and worked out perfectly. About the shape of this coat, well, there is no shape actually, almost the same size for bust, hips and waist.

Excellent so far
This coat fits me perfectly with room for a sweater underneath if needed. I am 210 lbs, 5'3" and I got the 1X. Arm lenth is perfect, lots of shoulder room. I am concerned that it may not be warm enough for Canadian winters because it is very thin. However I was just out in -4C and it was good. When it gets to -20C, who knows! The fake fur around the hood is horrible like they all are but it can be removed so I like that. Its long and also has the 2-way zipper for sitting, driving etc. The sleeves have an inside cuff so thatll keep the wind out. Overall, I love it!
