Comfortable- leg wider than expected- size not
I love the Saturday trail line from Columbia. the material is great for hiking (stays dry when everything else is soaked, and stain free). I usually get the knee pant or regular pant, and have always found this line to be the most flattering fit due to the slim leg. I ordered this short because I found it on sale, and I am a sad that the leg is wider and not as flattering as the rest of the line. Not terrible- but you can judge if it is a fit you like. SIZE NOTE: Waist fits comfortably like the rest of the Saturday trail line, which I have always had to order one size bigger than all my other pants/shorts. So if you normally wear a size 12, get the size 14.

Fit great!
I LOVE these shorts. They are on the longer side, but not down to the knee. The pockets are awesome-stuff actually fits in them and the back pockets have Velcro flap closures. My smaller work iPhone fit in the back pocket, but my larger galaxy barely did and I couldn't use the closure. There is also a zip pocket down the leg that is fantastic for storing an ID or credit card for when you don't want to carry a bag. The front pockets are plenty deep enough to put things in without having to worry that stuff will fall out if you sit down. I am curvy/plus sized, and normally wear a 14 or 16 regular or plus depending on the cut and fabric and these fit well-no gapping in the back. I highly recommend!!!

Love the material but runs very small
I love the shorts. However, they run small and I had to send back and reorder two sizes larger than what I normally wear in Columbia shorts. Once I figured out the sizing, I ordered a second pair.

Purchased A Second Pair and Disappointed
I bought these Columbia trail shorts two years and loved the quality fabric, feel, comfort and fit. I’ve lost weight so I ordered another size recently. The second pair arrived and the quality is now lost to a thinner fabric, the manufacturing quality control is disappointing for the leg hem is thin and not well creased so the shorts don’t hang cleanly. After the first wash the fabric is now flimsy. Worst part is the shorts are still the same high price at $60 and not worth $15.

Please cater to full-figured women!
Nice fabric and craftsmanship. Does not fit as I expected; waist snug, lower ab area offers no snug shaping, length good. Overall nice, will not buy again.

These are great shorts for being outside in warm weather. Boating, camping, etc. They are comfortable, long enough that I don't feel exposed, and they are light and pack easily. I have the pants as well and they are great too.

Great active shorts
Material is great! Nice and light to wear and had elastane which gives a little. Wash up very nicely!
