Nice But a Bit Large
I really like the design of this coat and I love the color. It will be a staple...for spring. When I chose it - I thought I could use it for winter - but even here in the mild-ish Pacific NW - it's not heavy enough. It is also a bit larger than I hoped - but that could be for the best if I wear a bulky sweater underneath to keep me warm.

A lightweight winter or rain coat
I wouldn't get this jacket if you are wanting something more heavy-duty. But for rain or a light winter coat for those days when it isn't super cold, this is amazing. It is a little longer so it covers very well, and fits great. I was surprised at actually how warm it can start to be because I wasn't expecting that with it being little less lining. But the price point, in my opinion, is pretty high. It needs to be brought down by about $100 or $50. But I think with time that will really start to show if it lasts or not.

Lite but warm
The color of this jacket is wonderful and it’s super soft. Very light weight but also warm. Meets the high quality you would anticipate from Columbia. Folds up easily and makes it super simple to keep in the car or carry on hiking trips. For anyone who enjoys the outdoors, this is the perfect jacket. I highly recommend it.

Light weight and warm!
I was a little skeptical on how warm this would be since it is so lightweight, however it is very warm and blocks the wind well. It is not bulky which I like. Typical Columbia quality that I have come to expect. The color is bright and nice!

Doesn’t anybody field test these things
At a casual glance this looks to be a nice item. Then you look at the price and you are sure it must be a nice item. Well it isn’t. A hood without a draw cord. A hood with an inner side that crackles in your ear at the slightest movement. A body that is sewn through in countless little compartments that can’t hold any appreciable insulation, but worse yet, every stitch line represents a line of no insulation. A front zipper that has no flap is another line of absent insulation. Arms that end in tight elastic that can’t be adjusted for ventilation or to fit over gloves. The list could go on. All looks, no function. How about looks and function. Others can do it. Really guys, didn’t anyone get a sample and try this out in the real world before your buyers put in that order with some far east mass manufacturer. Columbia has never put their name on the best of outdoor gear, but you did offer credible gear— this jacket isn’t credible as anything other than an overpriced, ineffectual fashion item for those who don’t yet know how to judge by any other measure.
