You get what you pay for...
Bought this in Nov. was installed end of January. I have been running it almost every day, only in the evenings and usually on low and for a short period of time. I have only had to run it on high a few times. So basically two months light running everyday. And the motor has started making a loud humming noise only when running on low. it goes away on medium or high. For the price i was hoping to get atleast a year out of it but at this point ill be happy to get another 2 months out of it. Overall, it does look great though. and I like the lights.

Good item BUT not possible to find hood extension for the existing measurements.
Tried to contact the company directly BUT they had changed number. Got a new number and it does not work.

Faulty lighting
I did not like the lights to begin with on this unit, however I decided to go with it seeing as the rest of the thing worked ok. However after only 3 days the right light went out, and 3 days later the other one failed.

Good vent hood worth every penny
Before I had a vent hood that had a microwave combine to it but, my husband likes cooking fried things so It would have a big smell. so the one I had wouldn’t have that much of a affect but when I saw this one it was cheap so I bought it to try it out. when I received it my husband installed it it was easy to install and I’m surprised that my husband can install it by himself. then we tried it out my husband cooked a few things like fired rice and then there was no smell at all. The suction of the vent hood is very powerful and the light is really bright we can see clearly and the stainless steel is great quality and is easy to clean. The only bad thing is that the sound is a bit big.

Looks great
Really was easy to install. Just follow the instructions and use common sense. The hardest part was getting the electric ran in an 1890 house. But I was able to complete the task and it works great. I do not notice any rattling or excessive noise from fan at all. As some reviewers have said. I purchased the carbon filters as I did not vent this outside. We love it. The light is perfect.

The lights aren’t bright enough
The hood has more than sufficient power. It looks terrific. The only draw back is the fact the lights aren’t bright enough.
