Too thin for dark wooden surfaces
This works great as a shelf liner but when I put it on my cabinets it was too thin and I could see straight through it. I like the way it looked inside one of my drawers but that's about it

Perfect for the perfectionist. Forgiving and easy to move and re-position.
I was a skeptic because I have had a lot of problems with anything sticky and vinyl. It's very hard for me to get it right and I end up re-positioning and the damn thing gets stuck together. I am NOT good with cling wrap! But this contact paper was like a whole different experience. It did stick together, but I could get it apart again. I totally messed up laying it down right, but I could easily pull it off and try again, and again, and again. What a relief! It was healing my trauma one drawer at a time. Yes, I got bubbles, but they are super easy to get out with a bit of smoothing and adjustment. It's very nice quality vinyl and thick. It's not super thick though so if you want something that's more durable you might want a shelf liner instead. It can get scratched and is more like using wallpaper when it comes to scratches. It can get damaged if you have a lot of sharp things scrapping the bottom. It did ok with my kitchen utensils tho! One word of warning is that if you have wood with a surface you want to protect you should be careful and test it out. I was ripping out old contact paper with a shelf bottom that was already damaged. It totally picked up some of the wood shavings and pulled a bit off when I re-positioned it. So be careful if this is going to be a problem for you. The wood shavings that it picked up did NOT stop the adhesive from sticking. I was really impressed with that part too. That even though it got a little dirty and full of wood shavings it still stuck and did it's job. It's so forgiving! I gave the adhesive a lower 4-star rating because it's not super sticky, but it does stay in place. If you want something more permanent, you might want something that has more of an adhesive permanent type of glue. This glue reminds me of a vinyl sticker you can reposition. It holds up tho!

Not completely opaque
I chose this size roll because of its price point and when I went to use it, I found that it wasn't completely opaque-- the previous background showed through. Fair enough, I guess you get what you pay for. I'd probably buy it again even knowing that, since looks don't matter a huge amount with the project I was doing.

Not as opaque as I had hoped.
Moved into an apartment and of course all the things I noticed and were promised would be fixed before I moved in weren't. I wasn't surprised, in fact had they done as promised I would have been shocked. So this drawer gross weird stain wouldn't clean off so I decided to put contact over it. I am used to stick it on and it's stuck strong adhesive. This is not that stuff. Which I'm am grateful for as it made getting out the bubbles easier. I used a steel ruler to help me. My only complaint in the end was these two things. It's sort of stretchy which past contact I've used hasn't been but seems to make bubbles more likely but then makes it good that it's not super glued and you can ply it off and try again. And it's not 100% opaque. I can still see the stain. May apply another layer. I've given it 4 stars due to the lack of fully covering the stain. But I'll also re-score once I sense how durable it is. I mean it's in my junk drawer so hoping it'll stand up to the usual rampaging.

It’s teal contact paper I mean come on what more could you want
It’s teal contact paper I mean come on what more could you want. I use the stuff on everything from remote controls to my tens unit device and all the way out as far as garbage cans and other tools and equipment

Nice color.
The color was as pictured. I installed in my kitchen and it’s already got tears. Kind of thin. Maybe in a lower traffic area it would be a good choice. I did a pattern in my bath and preferred that as it was more forgiving of errors.

Works amazingly for projects requiring a cricut!
The media could not be loaded. I use this to cut out pattern pieces for my stained glass work. It's easily removed after the glass is cut and ground. It also comes up from the vinyl sheet like a DREAM!

This worked well for my project
‘still trying to decide if I like what I did here but the paper worked well for the project. It can easily be removed without causing marring. It took patience but the surface is completely smooth. The paper is very forgiving if you take your time & tease it smoothly into place with the pads of finger tips. It lifts easily if you need to back up a bit to get it right.

I use with my cutting machine
We use this product for cutting out labels for 4H. The name of our calf changes yearly and on show day there is a fancy sign with our animals name in it. The contact paper stays on the very shiny sign all year(inside and outside). Then it's easy to peal off for the next years calf. Easy to transfer cut material with transfer tape. Way cheaper and easier to use than actual sign vinyl.

This is not a quality product.
I suppose the price tag should be your first indication, but either way: it's not a great product. It sticks mostly OK, but if you're like me and you want to get it installed nice and clean and smooth, then oh boy are you in for (the opposite of) a treat. This product permanently mars/creases even when you just gently remove it from its backing paper. It's thinner than single ply toilet paper. Both literally and metaphorically. I can literally see the white of the melamine through it with little effort. Like.. I wonder if Con-Tact successfully invented the world's first two-dimensional product. In short: don't bother.
