NOTHING LIKE THIS ON THE MARKET

BEST INVENTION EVER, I threw out the heater part and just use the tubes on their own. I bought these 10 Years ago and they were precious to me because there is NOTHING that leaves my hair in gorgeous retro curls like this. NO HEAT! And quick! Amazing these were so hard to find three years ago and finally they’re selling again! Don’t think twice. I just spray my hair with a little water and mousse and put these one and I’m ready in 15 min.

Missing the older version

There isn’t enough of this new version to curl my whole head at once. I have to do 2 batches. The material that they are made out of makes my hair stick more. It’s definitely not as easy to unroll. I believe the heat isn’t as powerful as the old set. But it works, with some patience.

Not Real?

I went to register these with the limited warranty on conair.com (as it says to in the directions it came with), and the item number is not on the website. I don’t think they’re actually Conair brand - just a heads up. The item also doesn’t look like the pictures. See below.

Always wanted these, but need two sets

I always always wanted hot sticks and nabbed these during a lightening sale. I was only able to wrap half my head, I needed another set. I ended up using foam rollers for the rest and keeping those in longer. Really nice almost pin curl style. If your hair is really slick and straight it's hard to wrap them around the rollers, so I suggest using a mousse or wrapping foam to help.

Fine hair gets stuck to the rubber and hurts to uncurl

Expected these to be great based on the reviews but I hated them! Firstly they are rubber, so that helps the part of the hair that touches it directly stick to them - but it also makes it painful to uncurl! My fine hair was stuck to the rubber and uncurling them was painful. Secondly, when you go to try to "close" the loop, it is awkward and the whole thing just hangs on your head. Very very disappointed with these. After one try, I didn't have it in me to even try perfecting the technique because the hair pulling due to the rubber was enough to make me not dare try again. Unfortunate because influencers seem to love these. The curls weren't even a consistent look afterward. Fine hair beware.
