Terrific Die Cast London “Beatles” bus…
This is just the latest in Corgi’s outstanding line of Beatles London buses and taxis. Nice collectibles, especially in a clear display case.

Coming to take you away
Some Beatles collectors stick to filling their collections with vinyl and CDs, and others scout auction houses, etc. for wallet busting 1960s memorabilia. Another group stay with more recent collectables from the likes of Corgi and Lego, though there are some, like me, who go for all three departments. Okay, we all know it was a Magical Mystery Tour coach but Corgi (with obvious permission from Apple) has decided to make sure we need more shelf space by releasing a MMT double decker. Like all the others in this current series, it arrives at the bus stop in the generic box, but doesn’t have the same livery as that aforementioned coach. The Magical Mystery Tour logo is on both sides, as is the Extended Play cover but the offside also has Ringo’s red drum skin at the back (it can’t be on the nearside, as the platform is there). The front and rear destination boards mirror the song titles (five) on the LP cover. As with all the other Beatle buses, it travels along route 1 – could it be any other number. If you’re one of those who display Corgi Beatles models, this is a must. Then again, collectors of Corgi buses will also be interested.
