Appeared to be real

Seemed like these were the real deal when it comes to COSTA's. I did not like the fit. they run very narrow for what they are billed as. they were very snug on my face. i returned them but im pretty confident they were real.

Great quality and easy to install. I thought my expense sunglasses were history when my puppy destroyed the lens. Fortunately these replacement lens were a perfect match.

No warranty card

Sunglasses appear to be real although the contents of the box did not include the standard contents Costa typically includes which is cause for suspicion. Did not have the warranty card which is a red flag and a big reason I paid up for Costas. Had to return due to no warranty card.

damaged

Item came damaged - I returned them without a new replacement

lens popped out and shattered in less than 2 months

I was putting these on the same way anyone puts on a pair of shades and one of the lenses popped out and shattered when it hit the ground. (I do not have a large head). I bought this pair to replace a pair of Broadbills that had a similar issue. Now that Costa is using Luxotica for all warranty claims the process is extremely frustrating, doesn't even work, and Im not looking forward to waisting hours of time and getting nowhere with them again. Ive been a long time Costa client, but looks like its time to switch brands to something more reliable and with a customer service department that actually functions and cares about the people keeping them in business.
