Lovely picture but.......

I am in the process of putting this together and I am rather disappointed in the quality of the puzzle material. The artwork itself is very nice but the backing is extremely poor quality. It is entirely too thin. It is a struggle to get the pieces to "snap" together without putting undue pressure on them, and until you get a large section done, the pieces are very unstable. There is also some peeling and tearing on the back, thankfully not on the picture itself! I see the puzzle is on sale right now, which is $3.00 cheaper than I paid for it, and that might be a better price point for this puzzle. Because of it's flimsy nature I would not recommend it for youngsters or elderly. It is a shame because this company really has some lovely cat puzzles which could be very enjoyable with a more sturdy construction.
