Great value

These were on special for less than $12 when I put hased them. I couldn't believe I was getting a quality set of 100 Crayola colored pencils for that. I would recommend them even at regular price. You can't go wrong with Crayola brand and this set has so many great colors.

Pretty good for a budget pencil

Crayola is classic. The colored pencils are pretty good considering they are budget. Not as vibrant or buttery as prismacolor pencils, but still great to use and has lots of colors. The atomic tangerine is the best pencil in the bunch. Great for highlights and my other colored pencil sets don't have a color like it. Overall it's a great value and would make a wonderful gift for the artist in your life

Great colors

Love these colored pencils. Layers colors beautifully. You can get many variations of the color by how hard you bear down. Only thing I wish it had was a metallic gold and silver. Will purchase again

I wanted to love these.

My daughter does A LOT of coloring for homework. Bought these for the number of colored pencils you get and the variety of colors. I really wanted to like these, but the texture when coloring and the color brightness are so inconsistent. Some of the pencils appear lighter and some have a waxy feel to them when using.

Love the colours! Don't love the breaking wood.

The variety of colours is awesome! But, when sharpening some of the pencils, the wood would fracture & break. I have a very nice manual Staedler sharpener, so this fracturing should really not be an issue. But, I guess sometimes bad wood grain will just split? And then you have to sharpen it further to prevent making the coloured lead (I know it is not actually lead in pencils any more, but what else should it be called?) less stable. It just feels like wasting part of the pencil, when it seems that pencil making should be pretty easy to have decent, consistent quality for the length of time pencils have been being made.

These are by far the best pencils on the market with a beautiful range of colours but hard to get since covid & expensive.
