Warning - Will Come with Clothespins Lying at the Bottom of the Box

I bought this as a replacement for one that my mom bought me, but was completely damaged when we recently moved. The sign is adorable, but every single clothespin was lying in the bottom of the box when it arrived at my house. I could not remove the nails (there was not enough nail poking out for me to grab to pull them out), so I had to hammer down the little bit of nail sticking out and then super glue the clothespins on top. Because the clothespins are not nailed in like they should be, I have to be extra careful and 2 have already fallen off and had to be glued down again. If you don't mind these issues, go ahead and buy it because it's adorable, but if this sounds like something you don't feel like dealing with, check out Etsy for many cute options instead.

Missing a clothes pin when we received it. It was one on the end so we just removed the one on the opposite end so it would look even.

Lost socks

A lot bigger than expected. It wasn't packaged very well and some of the clothespins broke apart, but I was able to put them back together. Keeps the missing socks visible.

Buy used if possible & save money!

So I read the reviews & comments were the same; broken laundry pins, torn background, etc. I decided to purchase the “used” option for 60% off ($10) knowing I’d have to repair it or send it back based upon reviews anyway. It came damaged as expected but fixable! Used my daughter’s craft kit for paint, bought laundry pins ($2), had super glue & well-a!!! Turned out great for half the price. If you can purchase used, do so, easy fix & good quality wood. If you’re wondering about the colored magnets on the washer & dryer, that’s our system of knowing who’s doing laundry, or who gets to use it next, we each have a color... works for us! Lol

The clothespins were attached upside down.

I love the look of this sign and it's perfect for my laundry room. However, the clothespins were attached upside down. I returned it for a replacement and the second one also had the clothespins upside down. I zoomed in on the picture online to make sure I wasn't crazy and sure enough the picture had the clothespins in the correct direction with a sock hanging from it. I decided to take off the clothespins myself and used wood glue to attach them the correct way. Love the sign, but there was work to be done before hanging it in my laundry room.

Looks terrible and cheap now

This thing is huge... way bigger than I expected although that is not my issue. It arrived broken... every one of the clothespins is broken. Looks terrible and cheap now :(
