A Must For All Fabricators
I was super impressed with how versatile this flap wheel is. The lighter you press the softer the grind marks, but unlike other flap wheels, I was able to make my work look like I had removed heavy mill scale and also have a paint ready product with only one wheel instead of 3 or 4 steps and same number of lighter and lighter coarseness flaps. With that said, I also tested how well this flap would remove lots of material quick and observe wear on the flap. This test proved to me that compared with other flaps of the same coarseness tested at the same time, I did not notice any wear of this flap and the competitor's did not fare as well. Will order more than one next order.

Wow! Flap discs are not all created equal.
I was hesitant to pay this much money for a single flap disc when I could get several of other brands for less money. Let me tell you, it is worth it. This disc removes steel at an incredible rate, and doesn't impart heat like a lesser quality wheel can do. It is great for welding project fit-up, and is fantastic for sharpening mower blades. The abrasive is so sharp that it creates miniature curls of metal instead of metal dust.

Universal design = fits Bosch & Dewalt
Industrial level quality. Excellent 'flap disc' sander / removal disc with a wide range of uses. Works quickly for removing weld spots and beveling, and about anything else of the sort that you'd want to use it for. The disc is of high end construction and design, and fits Bosch and Dewalt 4 1'2" cordless grinders = as is = without an adapter. Long lasting = recommended.

Metal Hungry!
These are not for light jobs, they devour metal. For a couple cutoff jobs, it was faster to grind the entire piece down than it would have been to use a cutting wheel. They also leave a neat pattern, looks kind of like the lines a milling machine will leave.

No kidding, like a hot knife through butter
Be careful, these will ruin any other flap disc for you. They cut so fast and last a long time, you'll be disappointed if you buy anything else.

Grinds through steel quickly
This flap disc moves a lot of steel and lasts longer than any other type I've tried.

They are expensive but worth the money hardly any sparks and they take metal down fast!
