Must season pot after use.

Great sauce and mop set. I use it every time I need to sauce my BBQ. You must season the pot after every use or it will rust. I would recommend hand washing the pot then spraying it with cooking spray to keep it from rusting. The mop is hard to keep white. Using water with a little diluted bleach does the trick. All in all happy with my purchase.

Great Addition to My BBQ/Smoker

I have to say I love cast iron. This pot was easy to cure and already has a nice patina. I’ve used it for sauce and cooking some beans in on my wood-pellet smoker. Works great. As with any cast iron cleaning is not as easy as your non-stick, space age pot, but can be over time as the pot cures. The mop and detachable handle clean easily in the sink and/or dishwasher (just keep in mind your mop will likely stain from use). I like it and recommend it.

For the price great sauce pan for a side burner and batter mop for the BBQ

The sauce pan is solid. Its cast iron so you must season it after each use. The brush is decent. It does stain easily if you're using a red based sauce. Its difficult to remove the stains even after soaking it in dishwasher cleaner and bleach

The mop pot I have been looking for.

Good cast iron pot. Long handle that stayed cool as I warmed a the sauce on my induction stove and kept it warm for a long time. The mop is good quality plastic where you can detach the handle for washing.
