PRODUCT DESCRIPTION d-c-fix PREMIUM static cling window films offer function and design in one product. The d-c-fix PREMIUM static glass film protects you again curious eyes as it filters sunlight glare and UV radiation (up to 95%). Due to its static cling technology, it is particularly easy to apply, as it adheres to glass surfaces without adhesive. The film adheres to the glass surface using water, which later dries out leaving a flawless finish with no air bubbles. Application is easy: 1) Cut the film to the required size using the handy grid on the back for accurate measurement. 2) Spray water onto desired surface.3) Start by separating the backing at the top, position film and gently begin peeling the backing paper as you smooth film using a d-c-fix applicator or cloth to remove air bubbles. Surfaces covered with d-c-fix products can be washed and maintained with warm soapy water and can be easily changed for new designs. It can be removed just as easily, without leaving residue, for repositioning and reuse. Looks good, and easy to apply -if you can find instructions!

No problems applying this - except for being unable to find official instructions! Plenty of diagrams and user videos, but it was hard to know which were best to follow. Some suggested cutting slightly under the measured size (to allow for stretching? to allow for easy adjustment of the film's position?). Don't do this. You end up with a gap. It does not stretch. Cut the exact size you need!! Otherwise, it went on very easily. I followed a suggestion of soaking the cut piece in hot water to make it flexible and easy to apply, which worked well.

Pointless

Thought this would be great for adding privacy to bedroom window. Great design, but completely flawed given that it doesn't stay up for a couple of reason. Due to coming in a roll, the edges in particular will not lay flat regardless of whether you try and roll up the other way or any other method you can think of to re shape. Advise the plain static versions which are made from thinner material and do the job perfectly.

Sehr schöne Dekorfolie und ein toller Schutz um die Privatsphäre im Innenraum zu wahren

Sehr schöne Dekor-Fensterfolie. Sieht sogar angebracht noch schöner aus als ich es erwartet hatte. Unser Küchenfenster geht zur Hofinnenseite raus, wir wohnen im Erdgeschoss. Da man sich jeden Morgen wie auf dem Präsentierteller fühlte, und die Kater keine Gardinen zuließen, musste eine andere Lösung her. Es fällt mit der Folie auf dem Fenster genügend Licht in den Raum hinein und dennoch ist ein sehr guter Sichtschutz gegeben! Wir müssen nicht mehr auf die Mülltonnen im Hof gucken und die anderen Hausbewohner können nicht mehr zu uns in die Küche gucken-sehr gut. Zum anbringen: Geliefert wurde eine Rolle mit dem gewünschten Dekormuster und eine Zusatzrolle ohne Muster, sondern einer neutralen Milchglasoptik. Ob diese zweite Rolle überall mitgeliefert wird kann ich nicht sagen, wir hingegen hatten uns sehr gefreut. Auf der Zusatzrolle war hinten ein Karomuster zum Zuschneiden angebracht was sehr hilfreich sein kann, auf der eigentlichen Musterrolle leider nicht- es ging zwar dennoch aber es war doch sehr mit ausmessen und Genauigkeit verbunden. Wie geschildert- auf unserer bestellten Musterrolle ist auf der Rückseite kein Zuschneidemuster angebracht. So muss man sehr genau ausmessen und zuschneiden.Im Anschluss habe ich das zu beklebende Fenster ordentlich gereinigt und danach mit klarem Wasser SEHR nass gemacht sodass das Wasser teilweise wieder herunter floss. Beim anbringen der Folie würde ich empfehlen zu zweit zu arbeiten!!! das Anbringen: Die Schutzfolie, hinter der Dekorseite, entfernte Stück für Stück mein Partner während ich die Folie von unten nach oben ans Fenster anbrachte. Ich begann sie unten am Fenster zu fixieren und strich dann immer Weiter nach oben bis die komplette Folie auf dem Fenster zu kleben begann. Leider wurde hier kein ,,Spachtel'' oder etwas ähnliches mitgeliefert sodass man sich irgendetwas anderes zum raus streichen der Luftbläschen suchen musste. Ich nahm kurzerhand den Pfannenwender der vorne schön abgerundet und stumpf ist und strich von der Mitte aus erst nach oben weg die Luft/das Wasser raus und dann von der Mitte aus nach unten weg. das funtionierte ausgesprochen gut! Hierbei sollte man nur ein Geschirrtuch zur Hand nehmen und nach jedem rausstreichen gleich das herausgedrückte Wasser wegwischen. Zu ehrgeizig sollte man dabei nicht sein.... An den Rändern bleibt jeweils ein leichter Luftbläschenrand was man nicht komplett wegstreichen kann, dies sieht aber nur derjenige der es gemacht hat und es zu perfekt erledigen möchte ^^. normalerweise fällt das kaum auf. Wenn man diesen ,,Rand'' nämlich versucht wegzustreichen löst sich gleich ein ganzes Stück wieder ab und man hat mehr arbeit als nötig da man dieses Stück dann wieder komplett verstreichen muss. Insgesamt eine tolle Möglichkeit seine Privatsphäre zu wahren und gleichzeitig gut machbar für Anfänger! (ps...ich habe zb sowas noch nie vorher gemacht) Vielen Dank für diese schöne Folie. Ps sie hällt seit dem einmaligen anbringen seit bereits fünf Tagen tadellos und ich musste sie kein zweites Mal feststreichen oder drücken
