Buyer Beware if you need composite toe
I like these boots, but beware, They are not composite toe as advertised. I got a pair for work and after wearing for two months, I just discovered the are not safety toe. I thought I must have ordered the wrong boot. Work paid for the first pair, but with my mistake, I have to pay for the next pair. I just received my second pair and maid sure I ordered composite toe and my order says Composite toe. Second pair is not steel or composite either. Amazon needs to fix this.

I loved these boots. Purchased them 2 years ago and just now had to purchase another pair.

Lasted 6 monthsl
I've worn these for 6 months. These are very comfortable boots. The outside of them have held up pretty well so far, unfortunately, I can not say the same for the inside. The insulation inside detached from boot causing my foot to get stuck in the boot. Upon getting my foot out the insulation came with it and now I can not get it to go back to where it needs to be or even stay in place. Due to the time they have lasted is my reason for giving this boot a 2 star rating. This boot is the least lasting boot I've ever owned. What a waist of $200.00

Was good till now
Can't take off without the inner liner coming off it's like a vacuum. Never had this happen before this pair. Don't breath well either

Nice boots
Good quality that one would expect from Dan Post, just runs a little small compared to my Durangos.

Saved my foot yesterday!
I had an axe come out of the side of a log yesterday, and since I was standing wrong because I was splitting wood in an inappropriate place, the blade got my boot. Pretty big gouge, but it did not go through the leather, and I did not need to go to the hospital, as I only have a bruise. As to the fit and all the other stuff: this is my first pair of slip-on boots, and they were uncomfortable for the first week or so. I was really worried that they would not ever loosen up, but they did eventually and now I am thankful I pushed through. Had I gone up a 1/2 size, I'm sure they'd be a sloppy fit now. They provide good support and the soles seem to wear nicely. I kick a shovel a LOT, and they show no damage or marks from the work.

Great appearance, comfortable, receive compliments.
I have never liked cowboy boots, because of the pressure points around the toes, and the heat buildup during the day, but these are comfortable and seem to be durable. They look nice.

Don’t waste your money....appearances only!
Having owned these boots for a year now I would not recommend purchase them as I will never again waste my money on them. I bought thane because I was always under the impression that dan post were good boots. At about 8 months in the boots were no longer waterproof. The welt began cracking and the dissimilar sections of rubber on the sole started peeling. The insole and lining became detached from the boot making them extremely difficult and annoying to remove. The interior (insulated which I generally despise) smells awful. These boots are worn every day at least 12 hours a day. I am a mechanic by trade and have a family farm that I also maintain. These boots are often wet and usually “oiled” weekly (hydraulic, 15w-40 and so on) The leather has survived beautifully however at about 10 months in the seems of the leather began failing. The steel shank rotted and migrated around.....generally garbage so disappointed. If you want to look like you work they may be great. If you actually work don’t bother, your value is better served with a pair of Chinese made Georgia Boots from TSC. Me....I’m going back to Ariats in the mean time.

Great boot
I am a 9.5 shoe usuall 10 boot and this is a good fit. I do have room to spare on toes but nothing that would make the boot uncomfortable and the heal is a bit tight so 9.5 would be a challenge to put on. Overall very comfortable
