The color is more of the black with faint highlights. Not an oil rubbed bronze. The comparison is of my broken one which is oil rubbed...

Inexpensive upgrade

The ugly old battered and scratched shower pipe, escutcheon, and showerhead that came with the house just had to go. So I bought a lovely hand shower in brushed nickel and this arm and escutcheon matched it perfectly. It's a standard size and was a simple changeover (well, getting the old one out of the wall wasn't so simple, story for another day). The escutcheon in this set is a bit smaller in diameter than my old one and than most of the others I looked at. For me the smaller size was not an issue as the hole to cover is barely larger than the shower pipe itself. The finish is very well done and I think this will hold up. Very pleased.

It works

If you have shower and want to move water to your shower head this thing will do the trick. You screw it into your plumbing inside the wall and then connect your shower head. The technology here is amazing, this pipe will transfer the water from inside your wall to your shower head and allow one of those fancy indoor showers. Our ancestors could only dream of such things. The finish is good and it's a metal pipe so I'm expecting years of service.

This is all plastic.

I like the style and the two large heads. I admit I was surprised to find that the product is ALL plastic. That does concern my since the reason I purchased it was to replace a plastic shower; the piece that holds the hand held shower head broke in the middle of the night, very loud. However, for the money it is a decent, attractive option. We'll keep it and if it does break we haven't spent a large sum on money.

Good value for the money

When you buy a standard shower installation kit (i.e. one that comes with the trim kit and cartridge), it normally comes with a 6" shower arm. Before buying a kit like that, take a close look at your existing shower arm. It turned out that mine had been cobbled together to be slightly longer than a standard, 6" arm and it had started leaking where it was joined. The 6" was just too short to make it all the way through and look right, so I had to buy this one after-the-fact, but it worked nicely and wasn't too expensive.

Cheap in so many ways

Didn't cost much so you should not expect much. Cheap arm and escutcheon. Cheap price. What else is there to say? ... apart from the length of the arm is short and the thickness of the tube is thin.
