"The B-24 Liberator is an American four-engine, twin-tail heavy bomber, designed by Consolidated aircraft. It was the most-produced American military aircraft, with 18,493 units made. It was used extensively in world war II in every branch of the American armed forces. The b-24j Liberator "Witchcraft" entered world war II in April, 1944 and was assigned to the 467th bomb Group, 790 bomb Squadron. "Witchcraft" flew an amazing record of 130 combat missions during world war II. The number proudly displayed on its nose art. It has the proud history of always completing her mission, and never had any crewmen injured or killed. The collings foundation currently operates a fully restored B-24 in "Witchcraft" colors, in honor of the veterans of the world war II. It is the only fully authentic b-24j aircraft still flying, the Star of the wings of freedom flight experience tour that visits over 100 cities nationwide. This die-cast metal airplane PS5557-3 comes in 1:163 scale with plastic stand and is approximately 5 1/8 inches long with 8 1/4 inch wingspan.

Not disappointed.
It's small but the detail is amazing.

Plastic stands
Very nice replicas only to be spoiled by plastic stands. I would have given 5 stars if not for the plastic stands. I have bought 12 of these replicas and have been very happy with the die cast models, but I had one that ended up trash after the stand failed causing breakage that was irreparable. I will probably buy more with the hope that the stands can be secured.

Very nice, high quality B24 model but it is too small.
The media could not be loaded. First of all, I would give this product 5 stars overall but the reason I didn’t is because it is so small. I really wish it was quite a bit bigger. I would have been willing to pay more for bigger, just not $200 or $250 or more which is what I see the cost is for bigger. I would be willing to pay $100 for a B24 model that is about 3 to 4 times the size of this made with the same materials and high quality. This model is 1:163 scale. The quality of this small B24 is very, very high. It is actually quite heavy given it’s size. I am very happy with the quality. It is made of metal. I feel that the price was very fair at $29.22. It appears to be authentic to me. I am not an authority on the B24. But it looks like the photos that I have seen. I am glad that I made this purchase. Just wish it was bigger.

Nice model of a B-24J
This is a nice model of a B-24J. The B-24J was the most manufactured model of the B-24 and was the only B-24 model built by all five of the factories that built B-24s. This model is painted as B-24J serial 42-52534 named Witchcraft. The Witchcraft owned by the Collings Foundation is not the original aircraft because the original Witchcraft was actually an H model of the Liberator built by Ford at the Willow Run Plant and the original Witchcraft was scrapped very shortly after the war ended. But the nose art and markings are indeed correct because it did fly 130 missions and 18,188 Liberators were built over the course of a five year period. In my opinion the model of the plane is wonderful. The propellers spin, its nice diecast metal, the paint job is great. In my opinion, what's not to like about this model.

Amazing
Sits kinda slanted on the stand, holes seem too big on this one but it’s great. I can definitely fix that with some glue.

Small scale but suprisde at the level of detail
This little metal model is very nicely detailed. I have seen the real plane up close and personal and went for a ride in this beauty. I am very pleased and the price was perfect too. I can't help looking at it sitting on my desk, It brings back the memories as well as a connection to plane and the all the guys and gals who made them and flew them and those who died in them during bombing raids during WWII!
