Repaired my hair without weighing it down

My stylist recommended the shampoo and conditioner when I came in after a year of seeing another stylist because my hair was dry and was breaking and tangling all the time. After using the entire product my hair is repaired, soft, full (I have fine hair, but I have a lot of hair), and shiny. I ordered it again, this time through Amazon and there is no notable difference. I have the scent a 4. It smells good, but if I could pick the scent it wouldn’t be the scent that it is, but it’s not strong so it doesn’t compete with my perfume. If you have long hair that is in need of repair use the entire product (lasted me about 6 months). Then go back to something else if you prefer and later this in between washes.

Disappointing fragrance.

Love what this shampoo does for my hair but not crazy about the scent. Disappointing, actually, considering most of the Davines line is very strongly scented .. which is why I love Davines so much to begin with. I love that strong, refined, Italian scent they give. If that's what you're looking for, this isn't it sis. It smells fresh... but fresh like cheap Zest bar soap fresh ???? However, This shampoo does wonderful job controlling the breakage I had been experiencing with my hair after going back blonde again. It makes your hair super soft & more manageable, especially for damaged hair and does not weigh down baby fine hair like mine! It is Safe on color & for daily use. Just really had high hopes it would smell as great as the rest of Davines products! ???? Try the replumping shampoo and conditioner! AMAZING scent and the benefits you reap are total game changers!

Can I even get a full bottle?

For the amount of money you pay for an 8 oz. Bottle,($34) you’d think they could at least fill the product all the way. This was a slap in the face. I don’t think I’ll buy this ever again, no matter how great it is for my hair or how much I love the smell. I feel robbed. I also bought the conditioner, delivered upside down but you can see, Same issue. The thermal protection cap was delivered broken.

Not that good

I’ve used the Momo Davine shampoo and conditioner, and it was great. So when I saw that Davine had products for long hair, I decided to buy both shampoo and conditioner. After buying the set twice, I didn’t see good results. I got a lot more split ends than I had. My hair was also getting frizzy as well. Maybe it wasn’t for my hair type, but I wouldn’t recommend the Melu shampoo and conditioner for anyone who has long wavy hair type. I have since switched into using Kbeauty/Jbeauty shampoos and conditioners as those products are much more affordable and gives great results for my hair. The Melu shampoo and conditioner isn’t worth the price.

I read so many reviews on this shampoo (as well as the conditioner), and assumed that like everything else I had previously used on my hair (Goldwell, Kerastase, Oribe, etc.), that it was just another overpriced hair care line with a catchy look. I WAS WRONG! To be safe, I ordered the travel sizes of the shampoo and conditioner, along with a sample of the Nounou mask. I figured, it's Amazon Prime and the small sizes are safe to try it out. These are things that I wanted to specify, because they were not originally specified for me: - You get many uses out of the travel sizes, and a little really does go a long way. I have long hair past the middle of my back, and find that a quarter-size amount is plenty. -If you want a good lather with the shampoo, make sure your hair is very, very wet. I wash my hair everyday, sometimes twice a day, and have gotten about 15 uses out of each product, and there is still some left. This has literally TRANSFORMED my hair in the past two weeks, as I normally color my hair black once a month. I normally have oily hair with dry ends. My hair no longer feels oily, and my ends are extremely smooth and soft, and much less tangled than they were. My hair also feels like it has a lot more volume, and when I blowdry ... My hair is perfection (I air dry most days) . I am on my way to ordering the larger sizes of these products, and my next goal is to try the Davines OI All In One Milk. I can't stop touching my hair and neither can my boyfriend! I'm so glad I tried this!

Wonderful shampoo!

This shampoo, along with it's conditioner is fabulous! Smells great, leaves hair very soft and doesn't require a ton of it to use (which works out since arrival of bottle, minus any security cap, indicated not quite the full bottle that I've purchased before).

I was looking for a while to replace my Kerastase shampoo as I heard that on a long term might cause hair loss. It is true! Don't get me wrong, they are great products but have some cons too. I've discovered Davines in a hair salon and decided to give it a go. Massive improvement! And I absolutely love it from the smell, softness, texture, smoothness etc. I'll keep on using it. Thank you!

Until Amazon sort their labelling, don’t buy

The actual product is fantastic- the best shampoo I’ve ever used that has noticeably made my hair healthier but Amazon have mislabelled the product so I’ve now ordered it three times and the conditioner has come in it’s place each time. I would rather spend an extra £3 for shipping on the Davines website to get the correct product.

I love the shampoo and I actually ordered another one. The reason why I am giving 3 stars is because first bottle came quite empty like has been used...If the second bottle will arrive the same I will buy it from somewhere else...
