Saved me from having to buy a new door!

Bought a house from an investor/flipper that had a crack in the door around the latch. Guessing they didn't have a key and jimmied the door open cracking it. I had looked for something just like this to be able to reinforce the door but apparently wasn't looking under the right "search words" even though I knew it had to exist somewhere! lol Finally just when I was about to buy a new door I came across this bracket and saved myself a few hundred dollars! Yay! I did have to paint it to get more of a dark oil rubbed bronze look to match my door hardware (almost black) but it turned out great and I am very happy! Door closed tight and secure now.

Worked fantastic to hide the old mortise lock holes in our front door. Fit and finish was on par. Just make sure and pay attention that you're buying the correct thickness and hole offset.

Installed in Minutes

Fantastic- installed in only a few minutes, looked great, i personally feel that it will provide a bit more support should there be an issue with my door. Also the schematic with the hole distances where clearly marked. So i had no trouble picking out the correct product to match my current lock.
