This lavatory faucet has a solid brass fabricated body with a ceramic valve, and it's designed for 6- to 16-inch widespread installations with three holes. The interchangeable hot and cold stems feature rotating cylinder control mechanisms with ceramic discs and 180-degree rotation. They also feature quarter-turn handle stops. Expensive but gorgeous!

Easy to install. Seems complicated when you first open the box, but just follow the instructions. 1,2,3 etc. This faucet is stately and elegant. It's also expensive, but most of the increase in cost is in the Bronze finish selected. Worth the dollars $$$$ IMO....

Purchased 2 for my bathroom remodel after finding out my local hardware store was out of stock on these models. I am very pleased with the quality and look of them as well as the quick delivery!

Already used product and missing parts!

Beautiful color. However, the box was CLEARLY a return. Most of the bags had been opened. I immediately discovered a major part of the faucet was no where to be found and part of the plumbing hardware had clearly been wrenched on. Who knows what else was missing. I didn't bother finding out. Packed up and returned.

Adequate to the purpose, some goofy problems requiring adapters for thick counters, good warranty

Ah, we'll never see cast brass and good chrome fixtures at reasonable prices again. These fixtures aren't the heaviest of metals, but they'll do the job, and they look just like they do in the picture. Delta chrome, from other experience, holds up well to use, and the lifetime warranty is a plus. Installation wasn't tough (could've done it, but the plumber was on the job), but be mindful of the glitch I mention below. You may need extra parts at installation time, so plan ahead. The "easy to install" question doesn't get a straight answer. If you will be installing this set in a granite, stone or thick tile countertop, you should get the thick tile mounting kit, Delta Faucet part # RP11096 at the time you order the faucet set. The handles may well fit your countertop, but the spigot won't, maybe the other way 'round. Having to buy three adapters in the set may be overkill, it might not be--in my case, there were enough threads to install the handles, but not the spigot, so two adapters went to waste...the plumber said it was a common problem, and some reviews here say so, too. The plumber did not want to buy the two extra adapters, even though he said he regularly needs them.

Lovely details, justifiably expensive

Wow, this old-fashioned faucet has character. Very high quality, solid, nice details. I was reluctant to buy such an expensive faucet without seeing it, but I'm happy I did. Pretty easy to install. Hint: instructions say to use silicone under the faucet (yes, that helps!) and to attach the drain to the sink "without twisting"? It's impossible to tighten the drain without twisting, which damages silicone. I had to scrape off the silicone and try again with plumber's putty for the drain-sink connection. Much easier.

Order with extension set

This is a high quality widespread faucet set and I highly recommend it for build quality and ease of installation. As other reviews point out, unless you have a really thin mounting surface, get the extension set (you can always return it if you don't use it) because it is not easy to find at your local big-box hardware stores. I couldn't find the right set so here is what you need: "Delta Faucet RP11096 Thick Tile Mounting Kit for Widespread for Bulk Pack". I took a star off because the extension set should be included or just make this thing another 1/2 longer by default. I had to scramble to find this extension set, and ended up having to order it rush shipping to get the sink install done.
