Just got countertops installed… this faucet in gold brushed!

Just finished countertop install, placed faucet to look at it but waiting on plumber to complete install. I love the look, delta is wonderful product… I am very happy with the whole look in my kitchen!

Color is mismatched - the top curve is different from the handle and base

The only thing wrong with it is the two toned color: the top section color is different from the bottom section. It feels great, love the handle, touch sensor works well, great construction, etc but it just looks cheap because the colors are way off (see photo). Plumber already installed so we’re stuck unless we spend major amount of time uninstalling and redoing it.

Does not work consistently

This is a touch-based faucet, not a motion sensor one. I bought it in mid November but didn't get around to installing it until mid December. Faucet is stylish, but half of the time it doesn't work or will turn on by itself for no reason. Opening the handle should result in water coming out, but no matter where or how many times I touch the faucet or close and reopen the handle, water will not come out for sometimes 20 or 30 minutes, and then suddenly it will start working. Other times it works as soon as I touch it or open the handle. We have tried replacing the batteries with new ones, or re-seating them, several times in the past month. This seems to help for a little while, but then it starts acting up again. I expect a $700 faucet to work flawlessly out of the box, especially one that is only a little over a month old. Not happy with this purchase.
