Perfect!
This seems to be a part that fits a lot of different fixtures but it works exactly as it should so no more leaks!! Thanks????

Easy DIY project
“Washers” are a thing of the past. Faucets made in the last 30 years use a stem, this device. Be sure to buy the recommended spring and rubber piece. And remember to turn off the water first. Quick savings vs a $200 plumber bill.

Amazingly better than non-Delta stems.
I have used Danco stems for some time. I'm not sure why I put up with the "hard" to turn non-OEM stems vs a bit higher priced, higher quality Delta stems. The Delta stems make the faucet so easy to turn and therefore reduce the side forces that cause premature leaking.

Replace Both The Cartridges And Seats When Servicing Your Delta Faucet !
We originally replaced just the RP4993 seats in our Delta lavatory two-handle faucet, but new seats did not stop the hot and cold water from dripping, so we also replaced the RP1740 cartridges, which fixed the problem. The original cartridges appeared to be in perfect condition, but when comparing them to the replacement cartridges, we noticed that the crescent ???? shaped opening in the stainless steel plates on the bottom of the cartridges were slightly larger on the original parts. Hard to believe, but apparently, years of water running through the cartridge does erode the opening in the plate a bit, enough for water to get past the lip of the rubber seats. Save yourself the headache, and replace both the seats AND cartridges if your Delta faucet is leaking.

You Don't Need a Plumber!!!
Get a few of these and a few "washer/spring" combos and you can solve 95% of your Delta plumbing issues for pennies on the dollar. And of course, there are plenty of how-to videos on YouTube.

Delta part
This part was identical to the one I replaced in a 60s vintage Delta vanity 2 handle faucet. Easy to install and work perfectly.

Works perfectly
I bought two; they arrived in an unmarked bag. I believe they really are Delta parts, though; they are identical to the Delta-branded parts I've bought in the past. (I have had more success with actual Delta replacement parts than the third-party replacement parts that are supposed to be equivalent.) These stems fit perfectly, and work fine. I will order a couple extra to have as spares, so the next time I have a leaky faucet I can fix it right away instead of dawdling. (It doesn't get any easier if you let it leak long enough to get mineral deposit buildup...)

Works perfectly
Exactly what I needed. Only gave this item a 4 star rating because they used to come with a new seat and spring also. Other than that, no drips...no runs...no problems.

Better than a generic!!!
I had bought two generics replacements at my local store for under 5$ each. The one on the hot water would not completely close if the water was left one for more than 30 seconds (like when shaving). As for the cold water, nothing was leaking, but the handle was hard to close and sometime the kids could not close it. So I bought these one and everything is perfect. Quality matters and ask yourself if the saving will be worth it!

Good replacement part.
Easy to install using common hand tools. No issues or complaints. This stopped an old faucet from leaking.

Fit great, should be ordered with the spring and rubber cup.

Leaked right out of the box
I bought this in an attempt to fix my bathroom faucet. A couple weeks prior, I replaced my cartridge with the Moen M3816 which is the equivalent. It was SO hard to turn the faucets on and off; there was so much resistance it felt like it would snap. The hot side was much worse than cold likely due to thermal expansion. So I bought these Delta units to fix the problem. The action is SO much smoother, but it was leaking pretty badly right out of the package! Totally unusable. The only way I was able to get a decently working solution was to FRANKENSTEIN the bottom section from the Moen kit with the top section of the Delta kit together. Then I had smooth action with no leaks. What a gongshow. I wish I could buy a brass cartridge, but they only seem to make this crappy plastic pieces. The best replacement unit I've had in the past was part D-1 from Master Plumber, but my store that sold them closed down.
