Great Value

We use this for our outdoor shower and love it. It holds up better than any other brand we have used.

solid simple setup for newer installations (2006 or later)

Very nice, solid, simple, sturdy setup that's just the handle and parts behind it. What I discovered though is that my shower plumbing required "short" valves on the sealed cartridge unit, and this one has "long" valves, so unfortunately we had to return. I didn't see anything like that in the product description, but plumber said that it's a difference between pre and post 2006. Our original was older, so if you probably have a 2006 or newer setup, this should work fine.

Big Problem

The wall plate would not go on the valve and they sent a new style cartridge and this is a T13 valve which requires the old style cartridge.

Good quality product

Product arrived in OEM packaging on time... product quality seems excellent. Only issue is the cartridge provided was wrong size. Had to buy extra cartridge from Lowes.

TAKE OUT THE HOT WATER GOVERNOR!

Great valve; however, there is a built in heat governor that limits the hot water amount. Our plumber didn't know what it was so he left it in. Our showers were luke-warm at best every time. We turned up the hot water heater, but that didn't help. We ended up finding out that it was the internal governor. Once we had it removed our showers are nice and scalding now. Unless you have this in a kids shower: REMOVE the hot water limiter.

The handle arrived without the screw to attach it to the valve.

Very nice and quiet

Good quality for a low price... I would gave 5 stars but "seal" foam that "seals" to the wall wasn't not concentric.
