Diagon Alley is getting more and more pieces......

I have been collecting Dept. 56 since the mid 1980's. Have 8 different "Villages". I love them all. Each has fantastic pieces and average pieces. My favorite is Holy Land. Halloween is second. Harry Potter is quickly moving up the list. I think in 3-5 years this will be on the top of my list. If Dept. 56 maintains its quality and releases more accessories, HP will be simply amazing. There is so much content available for them to continue to create pieces for years to come. One thing I noticed with the pieces is they are light. Not sure if they are a composite, resin material. They feel different for the traditional Dept. 56 houses from other collections.

This piece is absolutely fantastic...the detail inside the windows when they are lit up is amazing. It arrived in perfect condition and clearly boxed with care.

Fun item For Harry Potter /Department 56 collector.

A GREAT addition for anyone who is a fan of either or both. I like this item as it is 1- Department56 and 2- Harry Potter. With that being said, it is disappointing that it is made from plastic/resin and still priced so high. It does make it lighter weight and eligible for more details and will probably hold better over the year (TBD). This seller did have the best price when shopping for this pieces.
