Sitting angels

I purchased this one, not knowing that I already had one very similar. But the size of it wasn’t what I thought rain so I had to return it to purchase something bigger. Otherwise I would’ve kept it.

Spectacular gift - year round display!

I gave this beautiful lady to a close friend for Christmas. She was in tears at how beautiful it was! I love and now want one for myself. Sculpture is magnetic, hard to get your eyes off. She will be on display year round. The face is so realistic, her gown has many folds that cover her legs but lets her tiny toes peek out, so human, a secret smile on her face delivers a feeling of peace and joy. Would buy from this company again, their work is exquisite.

She Is Lovely

The details are magnificent. I purchased the medium and this beautiful Resting Angel is larger than I imagined. She's well over 1' in height and so nicely crafted. I was a little disappointed that she has a few nicks and scratches on her face even with molded styrofoam securing the dense resin statue during shipping. Nonetheless, I'm happy with my purchase.

Quality control issues

This is the first Design Toscano figurine I've received (and I've gotten many!) which had me staring at it going, "Oh, that's not right." While the packaging was clearly intact, something happened at the factory - her chin is flattened at the end and it looks like the poor thing was also punched in the mouth. Scrapes/scratches are across the front of her dress and on her arm. The color is also somewhat splotchy and inconsistent. Considering how happy I've been with the other purchases over the past few years this has me wondering if this one just slipped past or if the popularity has resulted in a worsening of quality control.

It’s larger than21.5 cm

It was a surprise to find I ordered 21.5 cm but it was more like 15 inches or approx 40 cm. It’s a nice size for outdoors. Glad I bought.
