Great shorts!

I love these shorts! Light weight with some stretch to them and very well made. I will be wearing these to work, as it gets well over 100 degrees inside where I work. Will be ordering more.

too big for me

disclaimer i am petite (4'11 110 lbs) however i ordered my correct size and they were huge. wish they did come smaller cause they are super cute but i had to return :(

I normally wear a size 10 and the 10 is a bit big, but I'm ok with that because I like my clothes somewhat loose. If you like a tighter fit you might want to order a size down, especially since the fabric is stretchy. The thin, stretchy fabric is quite comfortable but it seems thick enough to be durable. The finish quality is good. I'm 5'5" and the bottoms hit a lot closer to my knees than they do in the picture, but the model is probably 5'10", so that's more about my being short than about the design. Overall I am very pleased with them. I am devoted to pockets, so if they are important to you, hopefully my descriptions will help. The bottom line is that these shorts have decent pockets, much better than in many women's shorts. The front pockets are nice-size mesh bags and are deep enough to hold an iPhone 6S without it sticking out over the top. I'd rate them a B+ --- they could be a bit better but they could be a lot worse, too. The side cargo pocket is stitched (not a bag) and closes at the top with a small velcro rectangle (no flap). An iPhone 6S fits in it and doesn't disturb the line of the pants much so it looks okay in there, but it sticks out slightly over the top and blocks the velcro from securing it closed, so it could slide out when you sit down. When walking with the iPhone in the cargo pocket, it's weight along with the stretchiness of the fabric means it flops around and back and forth, which would be slightly annoying if you were walking with it in there for any length of time. There are two stitched rear pockets which also close with velcro using a narrow fold-over flap. The iPhone 6S will fit and the velcro flap will close over it, but since the rear pockets are stitched instead of bags, it looks chunky and funky. I'd put flat cards or paper in the rear ones but not anything else.

These don't run big!

I ordered down a size and they are much too small. Bummed that I didn't just order my regular size

It’s too large

This could be a great pair of shorts… but the sizing runs big. I usually wear a size 4; and this fits like a size 6 and a half or more (maybe because it’s big and also stretchy). This was the only pair of shorts I had on an international trip (the airlines lost my checked bag for a month). I wore it, and realized it was bigger than I realized. Had to fold up the waist band part so it stays on me. But it was still falling off. If I wear a belt, it bunches up. So it wasn’t flattering at all. But I wore this because I didn’t have many options during my trip. I’m just thankful I didn’t lose it while on a hike.

Not Great Fit or Design

Based on some other reviews I ordered a size 8, which I would say fits the equivalent of a size 10 or 12 in other brands (so, somewhat large). The material (90% polyester, 10% spandex) is pretty lightweight and stretchy, with a smooth drape (not too thin but not thick). There are a few key factors why I would rate these between 3 and 4 stars however. 1. Although the rest of the shorts are stretchy, the waistband is not. This seems like incredibly poor design, because I would think this is an area that you would want to feel comfortable too! 2. (Hopefully you can see from the photo, the inside inseam (at the crotch) is not comfortable. It might be the seam if too thick or placed poorly, or maybe if you are shorter waisted it would not matter, but I am a little longer waisted, and felt like these shorts were riding up in the middle constantly. 3. Some of the exterior stitching on the back pockets are already coming apart after only 2-3 times wearing/washing (I didn't notice if they came like this). 4. I don't like the Velcro closure on the back flap pockets. Some fabrics will snag if caught on the Velcro so it seemed inconvenient for me to try to use them for my phone, etc. while trying to be careful opening/closing the Velcro and not getting my shirt snagged in it. So for the current price ($25) these shorts do not feel like a good buy to me.

Possibly the most perfect summer shorts ever

These shorts are PERFECT for warm weather. They are a flattering, just-right length (I am 5'4.5" and they fall above the knee very similarly as shown on the model in the pic). They are lightweight and cool, but have enough substance to the fabric that they maintain a shape. The width of the pant legs is great, slim enough to be flattering, not big and baggy. The waist fits well and is fairly flat and also flattering. All the pockets are a huge bonus. I bought them for hiking since they're advertised as hiking pants, but I wear them just about anytime I wear shorts, they are so comfy and flattering. I do have concerns about how well the fabric would hold up against prickers or anything that I might come across while hiking, I will try to remember to report back if and when I actually use them for hiking, lol, and test that out. I am 5 ft. 4.5 inches, 140 lbs with a bit of a tummy and the size 10 fit perfectly. BE FORWARNED: If you buy a darkish or similar color to the color shown on the model, (which is the color I got ), if you get water drops on it it may look like a stain until it dries, similar to some types of rayon. Unlike rayon, however, once it dries the marks will disappear. One of my favorite Amazon purchases ever. Good value to boot.

Stretchy but not Baggy

These are great shorts! They're long enough to be considered conservative, but still look really nice and modern. They're incredible for travel and hiking, as they are so lightweight and pack down so small in your luggage. The fabric is so lightweight that it's hard to believe how sturdy they are. The surface of the fabric is really easy to dust off if you wear them for yard work and need to run to the store. They can be worn for day or night, work or play. These have become my new go-to shorts. I have them in three colors!

My new favourite shorts

Perfect fit, very good quality, nice and light and comfortable, plus they look really good (or as good as shorts ever look on me...) One review I saw said the price had gone up and they were too expensive, but in my opinion the price is reasonable for a quality item of clothing that I know I'll wear a lot. I usually take a 12-14 and the 12 was just right. They do have a bit of stretch.
