Snug and flexible but be prepared to have red fingers

I've bought several dozen of these gloves in size small. (My hands and fingers are so small that I can almost fit into children size gloves.) I have tried the small size in other gloves but these are the best ones that fit my hands and for being a light-weight glove that doesn't make my hands sweat during the summer. I work roughly 3-5 hours a day in my garden and go through a lot of gloves. The fingertips get worn out first from weeding and my longish fingernails. The first dozen gloves had fingertips that were coated with a very thin layer of protective rubber. I went through those very quickly. The next 2 doz that I received, the rubber coating was a bit thicker and the gloves are lasting longer. They are still light-weight, fit snug and are flexible. The odd thing about these gloves is that the red dye from the rubber coating rubs off onto my fingers when I wear the gloves for the first time. That's why the star rating is only 4. Washing my hands afterward gardening removes the red from my fingers.
