Diplomat LED Lit Black Wood Finish Eight Watch Winder with Black Interior and Smart Internal Bi-Directional Timer Control, and additional storage for 9 watches. Our specially designed compact automatic watch winders will keep your favorite automatic watches wound and ready for when you need them. The near silent Japanese Mabuchi motor rotates the watches while you are not wearing them, mimicking the natural day to day movement while on your wrist. This winder is finished in a high gloss ebony wood finish and features a see through lid. The interior is lined with smooth black leatherette. We have added beautiful LED lighting to this winder to offer a nice accent to the watches are being wound. The LED lights can be turned off without turning the winder function off. This particular model has 36 LED lights built in. This winder has 4 different timer sequences which feature different turning directions. These settings are set by turning the knob inside the winder. The knob has 5 stops. 1st stop: Unit is off. 2nd stop: winder will rotate clockwise for 2 minutes and rest for 6 minutes. 3rd stop: winder will rotate counter-clockwise for 2 minutes and rest for 6 minutes. 4th stop: winder will rotate clockwise for 2 minutes, rest for 6 minutes then it will rotate counter-clockwise for 2 minutes, rest for 6 minutes. 5th stop: winder will rotate clockwise for 5 minutes then counter-clockwise for 5 minutes. This cycle will repeat continuously for 3 hours then rest for 9 hours. Each turntable can be set to its own setting, so you can have two different programs set at the same time. Net Weight: 15.5 lb. Dimensions: 25"w x10.5"d x 8.75"h. This winder can be powered using the supplied 100/240V Adaptor. This unit can be locked using the supplied key.

Meh, it's OK...

I have owned this winder for about a year and a half, so I've had sufficient time to evaluate and compare it to the winders I have previously owned. The finish is adequate and the winder is silent - at first. After a year or so, it has began to emit various squeaks, but probably nothing that a good oiling couldn't fix. There are two issues with this winder that I do want to point out. First, the pillows to which the watches mount fit too too snugly within the rotating heads and it causes one of two conditions to occur when you're adding or removing watches from the winder. If you're taking a watch out, you must give them a reasonable tug, which may dislodge the entire winding head or at least cause issues with its smooth operation. On two occasions, I have also had problems with getting the watches into the rotating head, which caused the watches to stick up too far and scratch the display glass on the winder as the watches rotated. So, this is a case where you need to pull and press very firmly, which always makes you feel like you're going to break or damage the watch winding mechanism. On several occasions the entire radial head faceplate has come out while I was attempting to remove a watch and it's a pain to put them back in. I have no doubt that the ill-fitting pillows and my attempts to forcefully add or remove watches from the winder are the reason that the winder has become increasingly noisy. Thank heaven the winder is kept in a closet; the incessant squeaking would drive me crazy if it was in my bedroom. As I mentioned, I have owned a couple of good watch winders in the past, so I know how a good one should function. If you're looking for a good watch winder at a decent price, I'd probably stay away from this one as it doesn't seem to be built for the long haul and you'll probably need to replace it within a couple of years. I'll probably bite the bullet within the next year and spring for a new winder of better quality. I guess that, in this case, sometimes the least expensive option is probably going to end up costing me more in the long run.

Won't keep my Rolexes wound

Had this for several years now. It is an attractive looking unit and fits many watches. After time, the finishing on the watch holders is peeling off, even on the ones that were not used at all. Not enough activity to keep my Rolexes wound. This was the primary reason for purchasing this unit, so it does not serve the intended purpose. Beautiful display case, specially if LED lights are on. I personally would not buy this product again as it does not serve the intended primary purpose.

Great product - winds everything

I have had a few auto-wonders and this is a better unit for the price. Besides the winding portions, there is great storage for watches other than the eight on auto-wind. The unit will keep virtually all watches wound after a hand-winding, but it has some troubles starting Rolex and Audemar without a hand-wind: will auto start Hublot. Beware: anything above 44mm all not fit in the storage or the autowinder. The clearance isn't there for the large face and it will hit the clear glass and disrupt the motor - no good.

Holds 7 big dive watches

Beautiful finish outside but watch pillows could be a lot better, but work fine. Led lights really light it up. Holds 8 big dive watches without any problems.The motors are not silent but they still quite.

It does exactly what I was hoping it would do… ...

It does exactly what I was hoping it would do… It runs watches clockwise and counterclockwise and variable revolutions per minute. It has plenty of storage and runs Totally silent with the case closed.

Two years of use, and the quality is not so good. At first I rated it as 5 stars, now 4 .... I hope I do not have to lower for 3!

Beware of this product. Poor quality!

The media could not be loaded. BEWARE OF THIS PRODUCT!!! IT IS THE SINGLE POOREST QUALITY ITEM I’VE PURCHASED ON AMAZON IN MANY YEARS!!! I have made hundreds of purchases over many years. I first purchased this item a few weeks ago. Straight out of the box, only 3 of 4 watch holders rotated - the other was dead on arrival. I called Amazon, and as always they were awesome, shipping out a replacement right away. But that’s when things got weird. My replacement arrived in just the flimsy interior box without any shipping box or packing protection. Right out of the box I could see it was damaged and NONE of the watcholders rotated AND the hinge on the door was clearly damaged. Frankly it looked like someone shipped a previously returned unit by mistake - and they did not include any return shipping label as promised. Not sure if that was an Amazon mistake or an error by the manufacturer. That said, I’ve learned my lesson - receiving two shoddy and obviously defective products is enough to scare me off the Diplomat brand for life. Learn from my mistake - I am going to spend a little more and buy something that is of higher quality.

Yes! Absolutely beautiful! WoW!

This is a HIT! Well built piece of furniture. We had several people in awe after seeing it - and when in action this is truly a lovely centerpiece. I would really recommend this as a high quality gift or a personal luxury treat. Lovely!

Everything is great, the case is beautiful, the only bad detail is that the key was not included in the package
