A watch winder is a device that can hold watches and moves them in circular patterns to approximate the human motion that otherwise keeps the self-winding mechanism working. An automatic self winding watch should be kept wound and running as much as possible to prevent its lubricants from congealing over time, which diminishes accuracy. This unit winds 8 watches at a time, and runs on included 110V-240V AC adapter. This winder features a Japanese Mabuchi motor which is regarded as the best motor in the world. This will ensure longevity in the winding system as well as the winder itself. The interior is lined with black carbon fiber and bold red accents. The exterior is made of an exquisite black wood finish that is just breathtaking. It doubles as a beautiful piece of furniture which makes a very bold statement. This watch winder has 4 different program settings. Knob program settings: 1st stop: unit is off. 2nd stop: winder will rotate clockwise for 2 minutes and rest for 6 minutes. 3rd stop: winder will rotate counter-clockwise for 2 minutes and rest for 6 minutes. 4th stop: winder will rotate clockwise for 2 minutes, rest for 6 minutes then it will rotate counter-clockwise for 2 minutes, rest for 6 minutes. 5th stop: winder will rotate clockwise for 5 minutes then counter-clockwise for 5 minutes. This cycle will repeat continuously for 3 hours then rest for 9 hours. Please keep in mind that this winder will not work on Seiko Kinetic watches. This winder is manufactured by Diplomat.
