This Dixon HB series straight nipple is used for connecting or extending pipes going in the same direction. It has male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on one end (for connecting to female threaded pipes) and is barbed on the other end for connecting to hose or tubing. This fitting is made of Schedule 80 polypropylene (PP) for corrosion resistance, high strength, and less weight than fittings made of metal. The tubing clamp for the barbed end is sold separately. This fitting is suitable for use in cold-water applications.
