have to use pieces vs. a whole and it works great

As a caregiver for my bedbound relative, I have a hard time rolling her especially on a full egg crate mattress. She has limited ability to adjust herself and that is greatly diminished on a full egg crate mattress, too. That said, I still needed pressure relief for hips and heels so I bought this and cut pieces 16x8 and 16x16. They are small enough I can get them under her and the incontience mats by myself and they are just thick enough to be the pressure relief as long as I rotate her every few hours in the daytime or even overnight because I position her where she's not direclty on her hip bone. When these pieces wear out, I can cut some more off the roll.

Excellent egg crate pad

This product is everything it's advertised to be. Very comfortable. I purchased the hospital pad and found it perfect in all respects. Read some of the reviews that said it was hard and frankly can't imagine what level of "softness" the reviewer was looking for. Also watched a video where the reviewer measured the thickness and complained that it was not a uniform two inches. I did not do that. I slept on it and like I said it's everything it's advertised to be. Frankly I was surprised that it was so soft and comfortable.

Warm n comfortable

This topper saved me from buying a new mattress. Yes, it's a bit warmer than without it, but my back feels better and my sleep is improved. The RV futon we have felt like sleeping on a board before buying this. I recommend it.

Needs a firm base layer below it

needs a firm base layer without deficiencies to boost anything you intend to sit or lay on since this foam is really eager to flatten under any limb you place on it, let alone instant flattening to this foam that will occur with any body weight resting on it. It will give a little cushion to a sheet of plywood, but if your bed has any wimpy spots already, expect this foam as well as your body to sink in the existing weak spots before you can blink. I didn’t spend alot, and I got my monies worth - to be fair.

Flattens in Places Over Time

It was great for the first month, but is becoming permanently flattened at the buttocks and shoulders. Flipping it around gains additional time at the shoulders, but the buttocks rest in the center... It's still ok for me after a couple months since I need most of the support and cushion under my middle and lower back after surgery, but will eventually flatten out there as well.

Comfortable and Does the Job

This product is well made. I put the foam in a pillow case so it won't get dirty. I love the fact that it is so soft but sturdy. Also the material doesn't get yo hot like some other foams that even through the pillow case your butt and back get out. I believe this product would be great for people that have to stay sitting in an wheelchair. This would help them feel comfortable.

Mixed Feelings. Large is Not Thick.

Honestly- when I accidentally ordered the small size, I was in awe of its thicknesses! I decided to keep it and order the full. The full size was a bit of a disappointment. It's not even half the thicknesses of the small. Not sure why this company doesn't maintain the integrity of the thicknesses. I placed the two together and slept exceptionally well. I live in a small space so often I shift during the day from office to bedroom. I need something that's easy to roll and store when not in use. So- I guess this will work fine. I'm curious to see how this foam will hold up. The cost is quite high for the large. You can find similar at Walmart for a fraction of the cost. Hoping t's well supported and made. My foams go through a lot of handling. If it lasts the test of time I will be elated. Nice color too. I prefer the blue to the icky beige ones we always see.

Like most online shoppers, I rely on the seller to provide Amazon with an accurate description of its product(s). Especially during these current trying times, when returning an item that is NOT as described involves making an unwarranted trip to the post office or UPS store. This topper is NOT 4 inches high. The cones range in height between 3.25" and 3.5". DMI knows better because I am not the first buyer to post a review including a photograph of the ill-described mattress topper. Although the topper is comfortable to lie on, I am returning the item on principle. My advice: Do NOT buy from a seller who knowingly posts inaccurate product descriptions.

This is a Regular Foam Mattress Topper

We were looking for a regular mattress topper that did not have memory foam. This does NOT have memory foam as in their description. When you put your hand on it, it bounces back up quickly. It is quite thin but it's decent. We did end up buying our daughter a memory foam one was she actually found one that she didn't sink into too much for her dorm. We are keeping this though for her bed at home.

Much better than memory foam

I've tried thick memory foam mattress covers and hated them. I found them super hot, and didn't like the 'memory' aspect, preferring a cover that bounces back. This one is great. It's cool, soft and relatively inexpensive.
